expanding the community forums

hey guys, i believe the community forums needs to be expanded so there's more to talk about and less spamming lol ..

I was thinking about adding some programming sections since I know about programming and could help some ppl solving problems etc..

what sections would you suggest for our community forums?

 

Several players have expressed some interest in having a debate forum and also a section specifically to talk about other games.

Yes as Ash said people have expressed interests in those. We have a Designer's Lounge already but that is more for people who use Photoshop. Probably a section for people who would like to display some of their work such as drawings/paintings, poetry, writing song lyrics, etc.

 

a debate forum would be good, i like debates as long as it doesn't get into a drama here ^^ //

and about the game forum, which games you're talking about?

Im suggesting that if players host an event, in "Events Think-Tank" section,
that the host is able to bump the event, so the community is aware of it and can participate ^_^ just a suggestion, thank you!

 

Like WoW, League of Legends.. etc

 

Seen a lot of posts around League of Legends, but instead of just a specific forum for each one. How about just a section for "Other Games". Not like other private servers obviously, but other computer, console, etc. type games that people like to play and want to show others.

 

u could just split it into mmos, PC games and console games? dont know lol. it might be unnecessary to create too many subsections

yea it would be great to give sections to each topic, but i think for this ppl are using hot spam, general discussion and media sections

 

something like an Art section ??

something like Other Games discussion and with prefixed added would be good, i dnt want to create a lot of subforums.

Also another suggestion,

Having a chat system not like before, but a public one thats maybe on the side of fourms page with the list, so players, and fourm users can chat =] and also know whats going on with the server faster, and ams,etc can communicate with players instantly ^_^ like using http://www.chatango.com/ For The Gamez Fourm section =]

 

Just a general forum for any sort of game that doesn't specifically compete with gamez like alternate aion PSs. Though I don't really think it needs it's own forum. Just authorization to post topics about other games in general discussion or hot spam would be nice, as mods kill the threads under the idea that they are advertising.

A programming section would be nice, a music section for specifically everything related to music would be nice too. Where there can be discussions about artists, bands and the likes.

COULD make boards with age requirements, like that debate thing. A +18 section for strong subjects, like religion. ;o A gaming section would be nice too, but you'd have to limit it to a non-private policy thing, so people don't go about and steal players.

 

Technically, it does fall under advertising.

 

If ANYTHING...

Please, and I mean please... make section moderators, wouldn't want the GMs to spend time and moderating those areas now would we? >.<
