Alchemy and Gathering?

I'm new in this gathering and crafting system...
where will I start leveling my gathering skills?
I'd like to have expertise in alchemy, any suggestions
or some advice with this?
are there any materials I need to get first before gathering materials?

how about the gathering?

 

Work orders are the fastest and cheapest ways to master alchemy. All you do is take all of the possible work orders for your level, and craft as much as possible from them. It isn't limited to alchemy too, but other crafts can also be mastered using this process.

In Essencetapping/Aethertapping, you get 1 point per tap. If you go in the Artisan's hall, you can buy these Essencetapping/Aethertapping hats which can allow you to see tappable essences/aethers in a certain location in your minimap. The map corresponds to the level of a certain essence/aether. So if you're going to start from way down there, I suggest starting outside at verteron. Bring your cap.

like for example weapon smithing , u will prolly nid like 500 or more iron ores n u can max it .
u can get the iron ores from either gathering or buy ( not sure whether got ppl sell tho).
n alchemy is diff items n w.e lol.
