Question on PvP

Can a player who is 12 levels higher that another player, get some special credit for ganking that player? If not, it seems wierd to me what pleasure they would get from doing it. This isn't a complaint, I know the server is PvP.

i believe whenever u kill the opposite faction no matter what their level
you gain a kill
and im not rlly sure but i think by kills is the only way u can get to the top thousand so u can get ur rank above rank 1 soldier

I wasn't referring to the opposite faction. To me, that's what PvP is, not this willy nilly ganking.

 

I dont get it, who killed you than if not opposite fraction? Someone in Coloseum?

 

Truth, I only know names, I didn't see who, they got me from behind, three times. It was in Morheim. I suppose I assumed it had to be my own faction because there were so many players and npc's around, and I was in buildings. I did know they were much higher level. So I'm surprised if the opposite faction could or would chance entering a highly populated area, unless being a high level makes it possible for them to ignore all those people. In that case, it seems wrong to me that someone with so many levels higher than whom they are killing, could get points for it.

 

Well, to be honest it happends a lot. Morheim is low lvl area and those guards dont do their work, they are buged a lot.
You probably get killed by some elyos group having stupid kill count on low level players. It makes satisfaction to some, but dont know why.
It would be like you brag around: im thoughest in elementary school, im 6ft2 220p and 27 years old, but i beet a sht out of them all...
