Strange problem at starting =(

I played here some time ago, and now tried to connect.

I updated to newest version, changed to NA-Client, downloaded the new bin32,Item.pak, Launcher and installed everything, and after 2 days I got it working, but I have a new problem:

It´s some kind of graphik bug, but I am stuck at the "User Agreement". :sad:

Anyone an idea?

PS: I tried installing (NCLauncher)/ repairing, always an error...

 

I did a google search about this and one player from what I read updated his video driver and got past these user agreement screen that Im seeing. Have you tried to do that yet?

Also I found this as well.

"Open options and play with your screen settings a bit. I had it on Windowed Mode and it didn’t appear. Then I switched to Windowed Full Screen, and it worked. If that doesn’t do the trick, change to Full Screen, or whatever. Try to mess with this a bit. If it doesn’t do anything, then I don’t know. Sorry."

 

have u played other private servers from this aion folder? can see the info box there, sometimes there r conflicts

another thing u might try would be set the language to english and repair to it

it used to show the screen ur way when u had 2.1 client on 2.0 servers. i just noticed retail is 2.1.0.8 now (technically we support that but never know, i know 2.1.0.7 worked just fine though)


1 thing u can always do is install aion again into a completely different folder (then repair and install gamez launcher into it) so u get a completely clean, english version of aion. should work then

 

try to repair the client , that might work

whats the error ur getting?

well since ur not responding gonna guess a few more things:
do u have more than 1 aion folder? make sure that the one ur repairing is the right one, u have to link it in the ncsoft launcher. if u repaired the wrong one, the one ur trying to play is outdated

r u really launching the gamez launcher? theres a chance it connected u to another server if u used more private servers in the same folder.

(and on retail, but with a different client)

ah yeah was right in a way lol

to put it simply, ur client is outdated so it wont connect u, but neither is it letting u repair

try this: locate CryInput.dll in ur aion\bin32\ folder and delete it manually, then try repair again

edit:
btw if u have fast net and this doesnt help, i suggest u trash the whole folder (uninstall the game) and start from scratch so it installs properly, nice and clean

BTW u said u played on retail but with a different client. make sure that the one in the ncsoft launcher that ur trying to repair is pointing to the correct client (the one ur using for this private server) ^^

well put it this way, i help them (or try to xD) but at the same time i learn new things that i didnt know be4 ^^ so its beneficial both ways. in any case i enjoy helping others a lot

 

well directX usually throws a Crysystem.dll error at u without letting the login screen load, also it wouldnt stop the ncsoft launcher from repairing ur game

in any case if ur getting it, make sure its directX 9.0c coz thats the one the game runs on ^^

Where are the newest bin32/item.pak/other files ?
Maybe they are not the right version

 

they wouldnt prevent u from repairing the game so its not related, anyways i have the items.paks in my sig

in any case if ur net is fast i really do recommend u just trash this client and redownload it from scratch from the ncsoft launcher

if u want, download teamviewer and i can take a look at ur client remotely

 

I tried, it downloaded twice 9GB, then 13 GB and then there is an error (and I get a 10GB client ^^)

Now I also have directX 9.0, did nothing

 

hmm i need some info from u

whats ur version of operating system (and is it 32 or 64 bit)? (hardware would be nice too although think its unnecessary in this case)

did a little research, apparently ncsoft said its a windows related error and installing all the latest windows updates fixed it (and yes other people did clean installs and it didnt help them either, lol they fixed it by formatting their pc) xD

edit: now i wonder if people really know what they r doing. anyways some1 else said they downloaded a whole bin32 folder from some1 else and then it let them repair (deleting the CryInput.dll didnt work but having some1 elses did). i can try send u just the dll or u can grab the bin32 folder in my 2.0 items.pak guide

 

Win 7, 64 bit, hardware quite high-end =) (it worked perfectly on 2.0, here and on retail)

I ll try it with my retail-client (have backup), should work

 

read the edit on the above post, worst case u can try that but yeah some errors r quite a pain. btw i have win 7 64bit too

in any case u can try replace the bin32 folder by ur retail one and then try repair

actually scratch that i have the data folder there (or so i think). thats the only file i didnt upload coz its big and i got like 10kb/sec download so im not entirely sure bout all the stuff in it

so what r u trying to do atm?
