Can't fly everywhere

Hello everyone, I just started playing here, but for some reason I can't fly everywhere like all my friends can. I always get a message saying "You can't fly in this area". Is there any way to fix this?

 

Find a file called "system.ovr" in your Aion folder, and replace everything in it (using Notepad) with this:

g_chatlog = "1"
log_IncludeTime = "1"
log_Verbosity = "1"
log_FileVerbosity = "1"
g_open_aion_web= "0"
g_save_preset = "1"
g_auto_disconnect = "0"
con_disable_console = "0"
g_freefly = "1"

Thanks for the reply. I did this, but there are still areas where I can't fly, like in verteron. Is it supposed to be that way?

 

Yeah, flight doesn't work in Verteron and Altgard. I have no idea what the reasoning is behind that.

 

What about heiron?

 

Heiron and Beluslan are no-fly zones (for ground PVP).

I saved a notepad entry in the Aion folder titled "system.txt" with that stuff in it. I couldn't open the .ovr file or do anything to it. Am I supposed to delete it now that I made the .txt? I wasn't exactly sure what you meant by replacing it ^_^;

 

if you used notepad, go down to "Save as type:" and make that all files then make the name system.ovr

 

I tried to, but for some reason it said that I couldn't do it. I got this message: "Cannot create the system.ovr file. Make sure that the path and file name are correct."

I made the file, went to save as, chose the Aion folder where the original system.ovr file is, then titled my file as system.ovr after picking All files.

I'm not sure where I went wrong @_@

 

...I think I fixed it...

I had to save it somewhere else then move it to the Aion folder
