Failed to initialize the game !!

Hey hmm well I ****ed up and accidently updated ncsoft so now I'm at 2.1.0.8, and now I got failed to initialize the game T.T lol I tried using search but didn't find anything, so people don'y post shity sstufff....

 

can u show a screenshot plz? makes things easier

oh wait u mean the error on the login screen? dont forget to reinstall the gamez launcher if u updated (or repair and then reinstall, updating usually just fkcs up and u still need to repair)

 

With what can I take the screenshot D: ?? lol

 

printscreen key on ur keyboard? paste to paint (can use ctrl + v shortcut) and save xD

never took a screenshot be4? doesnt need a game function

did a little googling apparently ncsoft tech support told them to do the following, might wanna give it a try

In order to try to resolve the 1024 error, please try the following:

1. Browse to your Aion installatin folder (default: C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion).

2. Open the L10N folder.

3. Delete the FRA.pak and DEU.pak files. EDIT: i usually delete the whole L10N folder when the game is in korean and want it in english, might be better to delete the whole folder and repair rather than just these 2

4. Start the NCsoft Launcher.

5. Right-click the Aion entry in the NCsoft Launcher and choose Repair (Consistency Check).

Let the repair complete and try the game again.


If the issue persists please try the following also:

1. Right-click the Aion entry in the NCsoft Launcher.

2. Choose Properties.

3. Click the Language Options button.

4. Uncheck the German and French languages if either are currently selected, and be sure that the drop-down menu has "English" selected.

5. Click OK there and on the Aion Properties window.

Once these steps are done please try the game again and let us know if the issue persists.
