Religion or atheism?

Should've known better that starting a thread about religions, no matter how sincere you are in looking for a healthy and wholesome discussion, is bound to start a squabble between believers and non-believers, no?

 

well , i did , got over it with marks tho...
glad u managed to overcome the hard times in ur life too ^^

And about the church...its supposed to be God's house as people say , so basically u are "made" to believe that God is there , hmmm isnt God supposed to be EVERYWHERE ? Does a wooden house with a cross on top make it God's house? lame.
And are children supposed to get abused by those men that spread God's word ,u know...priests? and guess where that happens...in that so called God's house , the church.

someone please explain me...if there is a GOD why does He accept things like this?

 

Seeing from the other threads I thought that people here are mature enough to have a decent chat on this subject.

 

i don't believe that when a child dies by cancer it's man made...

 

Don't blame yourself, religions have that certain musk/charisma depending which side is arguing here.
A well-spoken argument from one side can just as well be an annoying blabber to the other. You can't help it. It's like a millennium curse.

 

gods, souls, purpose, destinies, life after death, are all comforting delusions for people... so its no surprise that religion is still around even though there its absolutely no evidence that any magical beings exist somewhere influencing our lives in profound ways...Id rather look at life raw and unfiltered as depressing as it may be...we're little animals on a little planet that has no big purpose, our lives and what we do don't mean anything, we are all going to die and rot into the ground and in a few generations no one will remember who you were what you did or what you believed.... i refuse to spend one moment praying or worrying about what some unseen "god" thinks about my "soul".

 

sure thing but this is life this what we r born to this what we r created for some ppl live long life some ppl live short one y u asked u self y ... because this the meaning of life of being unique in every thing ... imaging we all die at the age 60 or 70 so what is this life that i know when am going to die or this one of things that i told u about in my last post

Anyways my point is that its hard to believe in a God and in some religion when u see all the pain , hurt and misery around.

every Religion have deferent path as Muslims we believe that what ever u do in ur life wont be enough,,, ur Religious work not just enough u got to have the forgiveness and the bless from god then u get to heaven but if did some terrible sins still u got to visit hell little bit

 

The thought of Heaven and Hell was a good way to control the followers centuries ago ...

 

I would say it still is a good way to control...
