Aion newcomer

Hello, so i decided to give a try for Aion. I have never played Aion before and i dont know almost anything about it. First of all you guys have any tips/guides for a newcomer? Will i be horribly killed everytime i step outside of safezones? Well probly yes....but how long does it take for me to be able to stand a chance against other players in pvp?
How is the server population? I can tell that the forums has ALOT of posts so that could indicate that the population is good.

And finally, about classes, i mainly like playing ranged and caster characters. Should i just go with ranger or sorcerer or should i start with some noob frienly class? ( what would that class be?)

well it takes bout 4 hours of casual play to get to 55 (max level) so that part is easy. getting anuhart (an ok pvp set) takes a few hours too.

yeah the population is good too good some might say as solo pvp doesnt exist here, most is parties or zergs

if ur gonna stay, get the system.ovr for freefly and items.pak to trade untradables be4 u start playing, both can be found in my sig

I just haven't decided on what server and umh...is it called faction? im gonna play.

 

Oh guys i need some more halp.

First of all, im lvl 20 and im following Asmodian lvling guide by Socks. It says i need to port to Brusthonin but the problem is i can only teleport to one city (Pandaemonium) and i dont know what to do now.

Second issue is how the game is running. My fps is 25+ atleast but when i enter a city for an example it drops randomly down and up and i seem to be lagging, thats really annoying and i don't think i could pvp with that. I tuned down the settings to the minimum but it keeps doing that.

Well, I currently have a horrible set so I should, perhaps DP for some armor C:

 

Well, you need to first go to altgar, then mortheim. Then you can go to where you're supposed to go. Otherwise you will get no where really fast. Good luck, and if your on Lumiel Pm me, char name in sig I'll help if i can.

Since you can't do DP by yourself I suggest looking for a friendly, helpful legion, check the legion threads of either asmo/siel and choose your liking.

haha Agree with diamond. Play what you will find fun. I thought I would like other classes b ut well Cleric was for me.

yeah i think he should use one that he likes and that he know how to use because if he use one that is noob with it is going to be poop with the rival
