HELPPPP, client crash

WHEN I RUN GAMEIZ AION, AFTER SCREEN GOES BLACK AND "NCSOFT" SHOWS UP,

wrong xD its actually downgrading since most modern graphics cards use a new one that the game cant see ^^

@stride did u install the directx 9.0c now? u can also try repair ur client (make sure the region settings of the ncsoft launcher r set to north america, if they arent then set them to it and repair)

 

im already @ 2.1.0.8
it's like, I run GamezAion launcher, loads, NCSoft pops up, then it crashes.
p.s i have removed "AionClient" from the folder, if that matters?

@ smartik, I have done that.
My screen is 19", ive had trouble with another game due to screen resolution. is there anyway I can change aion's screen resolution, outside of the game? maybe that'll be the problem.

 

nah that shouldnt be the problem. the only resolution glitch shows up AFTER ur already logged in with texts a little mispositioned but it wouldnt stop u from running the game

directx is usually whats used to fix this. btw a wrong items.pak can also cause this (if u used one)

the only thing ive done is, download Aion, repair it. download gamez aion.

 

did u already use a modified items.pak? the game crashes at startup if u put it in the wrong place too

lol dont bother with it yet if u cant get ur client to run to begin with. at least now we know its NOT caused by the items.pak xD

anyways run ur ncsoft launcher now, check again that region is still set to north america and language to english and also tell me if ur client is US or EU (if it says just aion in the games list on the left its US)

EDIT: OH and please tell me ur not running vista 64bit xD it has major compatiblity issues with just bout everything

 

how can I tell if my client is eu / us? I have everything else correct,
and I am running vista, but it's 32bit XDD

 

um if it says just aion its US, if it says Aion(EU/Europe) its EU. anyways theoretically both should work, but most people here have the US one.

when u crash, does it give any specific errors? (also never click when its loading coz yes then it will freeze and stop responding) lol

 

ok, my client is US.
when I crash all it does is, pop up "AionClient has stopped working"
No I don't click while it's loading. XD

 

im guessing just right click repair in the ncsoft launcher, reinstall the gamez launcher and try 1 more time...
thinking what else could be causing it
