It's because mine is mostly text and BBcodes-based, since I have some links I want to share with others. So being the considerate person that I am, I tried the

tag to reduce the size of my text.

This is what I got in return

There's no way I can do it my way without violating the ridiculous BBcodes rules every freaking where.

 

maybe its how it is now. Size=4 for my monotype corsiva font was rejected T_T.

 

your sig image is 250px height + text below... there you got violation. Also max image size should be 500x200 (according to new rules), so even if you put that image alone it'll still be a violation ^_^.

 

I guess that explains things a bit.

Still, the BBcode rules still irk me.


Besides, I don't see how my sig can become a distraction for readers. It's not extremely long, not epileptic, not colorful, doesn't have any negative meaning behind it, etc. It's just plain and simple compared to others.

my size 4 comic sans MS works just fine also my sig is 861 symbols with tags (280 without) xD
kinda goes against most things u said lol

as to pic size, the upload resizes to fit forum rules but still told me too big

 

Put the text in the image with paint and resize the image. Simple =p

whenever you reply (post new message) - you can see other's hidden sigs, and own sig when you edit your messages ^_^. Still they're removed after page refresh.
