Looking for constructive criticism

I picked up PS CS4 yesterday and decided to get myself into artsy things, I began with signatures and I've made quite a few since yesterday. Since I have absolutely no knowledge of art I'm looking for your opinions. I don't mind negative criticism, but please make it constructive. If you believe my signature "blows," proceed to state why exactly it blows. Opinions (good or bad) are appreciated!

 

The character is too dimmed out. Text is a bit simple, and is quite dimmed also.

 

before u do an siggy, first get hd render, its gives 50 % of siggy looking.

 

I was going for dimmed text (since its fade and all) but I do agree with the character being dim, I'm into darker colors ;o

 

Not too bad, actually. The blending on the character can be different... and 22pixels.com and freephotoshop.org are the best sites to get all kinds of freebies like fonts, gradients etc

Well its a good sig , indeed. But on my opinion , it remembers me of pokemon.. Idk why , Rofl... Maybe more colour... And maybe black around the sig. Idk.. I guess it haves to much green .

The render quality is bad, but it isnt ur fault.

Next time look for a good one.
