Heavier Punishment!

I have noticed that there's been a great numbers of incidents

of hacking/scamming/duping these past few weeks.

And I for myself experienced it...
(reported it already and taken care of by GMs/AMs -thanks)

Now i feel that account banning isn't enough for these guys
as for some are just making an account w/ lowbie characters and
using it for their dirty works.

if they do get banned they will just create a new one.

they would just say and think

"its ok to get my account banned, because this is not my main.
I could create a new one easily"

In my recent post, there's a guy who admits he sells php and doesnt even bothers
he could get banned.

Or start doing what punkbuster anti hack does on most games now. Hardware ban's and it's also how a old GM i used to know on RF Online used to ban the dupers and keeping them from coming back. Just for those who don't know what it is, hardware banning somehow bans a computers parts (serial numbers) from being used on their server again. Not sure how or what program is used to do this, but it has proven effective on that server.

Indeed it is better doll. It put a foot in the dupers mouths because most of them didn't have the cash to go out and get new parts for their computers which would allow them to come back. So that GM won in the long run and tbh it got rid of a guild full of dupers within a few nights and the game balanced out for once in months.

Scammers get IP banned. As do repeat offenders for other offenses such as hacking. If a computer shop gets IP banned then they have to make an educational video as to how cheating in online games is wrong and one of the main features of the video is having the hacker/scammer/duper etc get beaten down and tossed in a dumpster.

Yep that's right. It's the cafe owner's responsibility to make sure his/her customers aren't running any third party programs or trying to scam/dupe whatever. And if they really need to then its not that hard to change their IP Address.

 

there should be some kind of real id ban!! =P I think some people can change the IP, I think there is no way to ban someone forever, they can find a way to get back, the best is to help GM's to ban them faster

I agree with that, if they are paid by people to sell the online gaming service/computer, they should not let they use hacks on the computers, I think there are ways to prevent that people download and install hacks on a computer if you own the computer, but I do not understand many about that

 

If they do have IP changers then IP ban isnt enough.
If they have multi accounts then account ban isnt also enough.

It should be both IP and account ban.

 

but that doesnt prevent from creating another account and using another IP. ^_^

I do think its impossible to wipe them out (scammers/hackers).

But in this way we could lessen them. ^_^

 

Or they could fix the bugs in the first place. I'm ****ing tired of all the shit that goes on here.

Seriously, if they can't fix the dupe exploits, the speed hacks, the animation hacks, then what's the point?
