yes but playing here and seeing how the issue of lost/duped items comes up every single day and people tell u to screenshot every important trade or valuable gear u have, 1 would think ud actually do it

if u buy gear u always have ur purchase history, if u traded for it, have a screenshot of the trade. in any case, u can always screenshot the gear ur wearing right now just in case. its a common practice here

scammers r common to all mmos, not just this one and he/she isnt really new here either

 

If you don't have screenshots, find it in your logs..

thats not the case during trade. every player should be aware of possible scamming and take precautions.

they dont trust logs much coz its just plain text. u can freely edit it however u want. they do have server side logs as i said be4 that they can check if they choose to and since a gm hasnt replied to his/her thread id say rage quiting is way too hasty

its not really security as much as a bug that wont get fixed by a volunteer dev that experiments here

Basically, those are very easy to modify. You can use any word processing software to fix the content of the chat log the way you like. About the picture, who knows if someone has kept it safe for you (your friends, perhaps) so that it's not in your possession anymore. In addition, as Lautaro, Bella, and Carl have said numerous times, this private server does NOT function as retail does (hence the word "private"), so they do not keep logs of everything that happened to you, that's why they need honest, solid proofs from the scammed players.

I'm not saying that you did anything I mentioned, but I knew some people who tried to do that. It was ugly.

While I agree that Carl has one hell of an ******* pocket that keeps gorging itself full of money [and he doesn't do shit but watch buttkissers praising him like a god], it's not entirely his fault if you got duped or scammed. Were it a server crash that led to your loss of items, you would have had a strong say in this matter.

we already knew carl doesnt care and doesnt put ANY of the donations he gets back into the server (besides internet connection fees and possibly renting them which isnt much compared to what he gets)

 

I have to say you one thing..i lost a whole mastarius plate set cause of those duppers and i didnt have any SS or i didnt make any usseless threat like i will leave server...so you can think about it again since you have SS...no its up to you

yea kinda screenshots of chat ingame have a LOT more weight than copy pasted text from a log here

it does have some use though. no they will not simply trust u BUT they can use that as a search key phrase for their server side logs to find an identical match. that way they can check if it happened and u really got scammed ^^
