Pc lags with all graphics on low

When I play aion, my pc lags like s8uayfguayisd so I lowered the graphics but I still reach max 50 FPS alone and 9 FPS in a battle.
I got XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB and when I click on recommended graphics it max all the graphics out for a weirdass reason so does anyone have a similar problem like me?

All drivers are up to date btw

graphics card isnt enough whats ur ram/processor?

also it sounds like when old games lagged on my new pc even on min settings. was a directx issue back then

ur graphics card is very new and runs on directx 11. aion is a directx 9 and cant see dx11 at all (so it thinks u dont have 1) so chances r it doesnt know how to render the graphics properly

i suggest u grab directx 9.0c so it adds the necessary files to ur dx11 (it wont overwrite anything, just add the necessary files so dont worry)

got the same problem mate, but my videocard is HD 4550 (yea it sucks). but still i play with almost everything maxed (except shadows) and i get a kinda good FPS (19 in some places, 40 at anothers)
That started happening when i upated my PC from XP to Windows 7 Ultimate, back at the XP i could max everything and get a fixed 40 fps x_x

turn off antialiasing its ridiculously demanding and can see hardly any change (on my laptop, my fps is cut in half but i see no change whatsoever)

and yeah as i said, graphics card isnt everything ur processor and ram matter too

 

I lowered the grafics but i still lag in zergs...and i die ofcourse

 

lol erm...we all lagg in zergz id say (well most of us anyways)

lol i get around 70 fps on max settings with AA off, around 180 fps when i look at the sky xD and yeah when a zerg comes i can hardly move

 

well i got an answer from a friend, my problem appears to be that my graphics card is shitty so it lags in Windows 7 ultimate due to the Windows aero(something like that), and i got Quad core 2.67 Q8400 processor / 3GB Ram

Ram; 1333 Mhz 2 GB x2

yes they said they did this isnt a driver issue

btw u can always try rivatuner and set it to optimize for 3d performance. i had to do that with my nvidia driver for my geforce card coz nvidia sux with laptop drivers and all version online made my pc freeze with aion and other mmos.

1. Download the latest version of RivaTuner here: http://www.guru3d.com/index.php?page=rivatuner

2. Install RivaTuner and Run the program.

3. In the Main tab, click on the arrow next to Customize under Driver Settings to bring up more options then click System Settings (the first Icon)

4. In the Overclocking tab, where it says "Force constant performance level" select performance 3D.

5. Click apply, and reboot the system when prompted.

If for some reason the "Force constant performance level" drop-down is grayed out you will need to go to the "Power users" tab in the initial RivaTuner window. Then click on the "+" next to "RivaTuner \ NVIDIA \ Overclocking". Look for "EnablePerfLevelForcing" and under Value type 1. Click apply, this should allow you to modify "Force constant performance level." Finally, follow steps 3-5 above.

idk then, u have a desktop with specs way better than my laptop and i can run on max settings (without AA of course) but shadows maxed too and i have high fps

but yeah with zergs its kinda unavoidable. btw how fast is ur harddrive? just wondering coz aion is like 16gb so hdd speed could affect it (its usually the slowest part in a pc)

theres a few things i could think of but ur pc is rather good for it to make much difference

digging through startups and turning off unnecessary services is 1 thing (or get gamebooster that turns them off temporarily when u game)

the other i was thinking of is a defrag. it moves all ur files together to speed up loading. i like smartdefrag coz it allows MFT defrag too (master file table, system files windows runs on, really speeds up startup too) and can organize files based on how frequently u use them

in any case i dont think either of these will really fix ur problem...

whats ur fps range on min settings comapred to max without AA?

 

The only solution is to solo, my laptop can't rly handle more then 20 people on the screen, so whenever I do play I mostly go solo.

Edit: you could also try out gamebooster it's a program that optimizes your computer to run at it's best, ny turning off unnecessary services and programs, it also uses your processors up to 80%%

btw i prefer doing it manually xD gamebooster turns off unnecessary services while u game but i just set them to never start to begin with in msconfig ^^

besides, gamebooster wont get u more than like 5 fps no matter what u do (usually even less)

 

Shift + F12 for drastic increase in PvP combat.

The only disadvantage is that you can't see anybody else except for your group buddies.

 

Well works rly well on my laptop but I hate how the shit uses like 80% of your processor, laptop overheats easily just running the game let alone having your processors running at almost full power lmao. But on a PC it should be just fine.

lol its not the gamebooster that uses up 80% of ur processor if it is then its really messed up lol

if thats really what ur seeing, then i think its actually aion using it, but shows up under game booster coz ur running aion through it
