SM bug abuse

Ok so I was trying figure out how the hell u can beat a SM with a changer and looked up on you tube to see it turns out best way is with speed and running and heal and attack but on retail when u get feared you can move and control the direction on gamez you can't move at all I asked a SM today to fear me and don't root to see and you can't move so its not very fair at all you cant beat a good SM at all and if you go to img and sit on the cliff with some asmo buddies u probably have been group feared before and raped by 1 SM cause its bug and normally u would get feared and all scatter instead of just sit there and watch yourself die so please fix fear so we got a chance!

 

maybe they will fix it after the update they are going to do

 

you cant control own movement direction on retail when feared.

 

But Here u can target a NPC and press C then u ll go auto to the target npc... maybe my bad that i say it.... but another way is to make a ranger now that range is bugged and u can hit from 50m.. Gl to ur choise

 

You can move in the first direction you point in but not side to side but its nice other people notice cause I find this is worst than the range hack myself and anit of movement would help a lot cause the SM is a tough class to beat even without fear

 

Your only chance is to survive the fearlock. Possible.

 

you have a couple things right about the SM's Fear. When feared on retail everyone scatters away from the person who feared them. The SM in a sense can control the direction you go when feared. It's like a magnet and when an SM Fears u, u both are the same poles of the magnet so you are repulsed by the SM.

On retail there is a technique that an SM uses very often on Dredigion instances called Bowling. Its where the SM Fears the other factions party and aims the party into a Balaur infested area where the Feared players aggro the Balaur thus wiping the party. It's fun to watch, not fun to be appart of lol.

 

Yeah its bugged but not all Feared by SM are not moving and sometimes they move away from the caster very fast instead of very slow.

 

This. Sm's are one of the most powerful classes in aion, and good ones are practically unbeatable (unless you get the jump on them or you're lucky - ie with paralyze/silence procs). With all their spirit heals (on Siel) their spirit sub amounts to near invulnerability even against zergs.

if you get the jump on them in pvp you have a chance, but in a duel where the sm can use all their CD's and 4 fears - gg. Also, you are a chanter, which only means your death is going to be long and painful.

 

Dont go solo. Take a Cleric with u. You should let him die.
Fear and all Debuffs are dispellable.
With a Cleric in Group Sm is the weakiest class every.

 

until the cleric gets fear locked. Oh yea, and your odds always improve when it is 2v1.

My Cleric survives 15 secs Fearlock. And he have some Distance between Players so not everyone is getting Feared.
Its not that we figth single SM, u normaly dont find single ely. And if so the easier.

 

Yards was just lookin at skill cause I never used one but fear reduces movement speed not freezes you and also has a range of 15m if this was fixed there are others ways to freeze all opponents like chanted do skill that binds all and that would be fair

 

depends on the mantra/food/scrolls, I find chanter to be quite a resilient class - the end result is the same though! SM > (solo) chanter.

 

oh yea, and question, what is the range on fear shriek on Gamez? I know it is 15m on retail, but I was feared the other day (by fear shriek) at ~25m.

 

I once got a Sure Strike over 17m
Sometimes range is bugged.
Many things are bugged on Gamez.

 

Ya man that is true I didn't wanna say anything but it does seem like the range is goin a little too far more than 15m I think they should look into this!

 

I cant "Fear Shrek" 15m or more... but I can "Fear I" with in 25m.
