What meanie head decides to kill lower lvls?

So I'm just lvling in Eltnen and some little asmodian, obviously a pvper due to size, just kills me when I'm handing in a campaign. I've never been one for pvp but I figured there would be some sort of restriction on where you can kill people. I'm new to Aion so I thought you could only pvp in the abyss. Just really annoyed about this and hope something can be done because I may just give up if I keep getting killed by some people who don't have anything better to do.

Sorry for my tone, just annoyed. Not sure if they should be able to kill me or not, especially seeing as I'm only lvl 30. Is there anything I can do to stop being killed and being able to lvl at the same time?

Aion is a PvP based game over all, the main point of it is PvP if i recall correctly, what happened to you was he went through a rift, and u were in a pvp free area...as stated in above post, level up in theobomos.

 

I understand your frustration, even though I play asmo I had my share of insta-kills while leveling up in Beluslan and even Morheim (there was also a pesky elyos ravaging Altgard recently).
Unfortunately this is really the nature of PvP freedom in Aion it's free-for-all PvP, surprise ganking etc. in the rift areas. In a way it's kinda cool, actually (despite the frustration), to have this kind of freedom, but usually such rifting gankers are not going to survive for long (though if they placed a kisk nearby they'll come back for a while).

My only advice is to call for help in game, ask for some max lvl players to clear up the intruders, pointing to their location -- I am quite sure there will be plenty willing to lend a hand (if only for the Abyss points, but the fun of playing police for a bit is usually enough).

 

If you're Elyos yeah, Theomobos is a safe spot. On Gamez its faster to grind mobs to level anyway.

The only place that you cant be touched is Brusthonin(asmodians)/Theobomos(elyos)

Also Aion = Mmorpg = PvP game.
Dont get offended but if you dont want to PvP then better try Final fantasy on Ps3.

This is a High Rate PvP server so your occasion is even worse at least if you played official your problem would be considered.

But in a high rate server?=.=

 

Well, thanks for help. I didn't know about the other place. I'm really new to Aion, used to play WoW but that just got.. So boring. Can't afford to pay for any account at the moment but I've been wanting to play Aion for ages. Most games are pvp based these days and I'm actually an RP'er, but I've had to give up on that due to lack of it anywhere.

 

If you want RP-ing then Guild Wars 2 is the game for you. It will be out sometime in this year. Its Both Pve- PvP based. And its up to you on which of these 2 you will choose

 

Yup, this is Aion... you'll have to get used to it. I started Aion a few weeks back and when I was a low level newbie I was being Pk'd on the spot wherever I went, even when I flew miles for quests. Its something that you have to deal with in Aion, after all it is a PvP game. Im sure everyone has experienced being pk'd by higher level characters when they were low level

 

Hah. I got Guild Wars for my birthday a few years ago and got upset when I turned out to hate it. >.< I was thinking of TERA anyway, it'll be out in November and hopefully with some interest for RP. Alot of games don't bother to cater for RP with separate realms and rules

 

Well the chances to be Pked by higher levels here is ultra low as you lvl up so god damn fast

And as second thought , since they can`t see you level they try to rape any elyos they see , cause they see your level like ?? , they can`t see you`re lvl 35 not 55 , so they pk you
The same thing happens on ASmo side as well , don`t worry

 

i dont wanna be rude or something but.. gamezaion is pvp server.. so grind on places asmos cant get like theobomos and when reach lvl 55 go take revenge

 

Haha ^^ Well anyway, think I should just point out now I'm on the Crystal Aion server, think there are two seperate realms, right? Anywho I think I remember seeing somewhere that the other realm is faster to lvl up on.

 

There are rifts that connect to asmodea and elysia in theo, but they dont bother with theo cause it is usually always dead, they always go for elthnen and heiron cause its so populated, if you lvl up in theo, dont drop your guard, it is still a pvp area

Nice pic Temujin :wink: Anyway, how do I get to Theobomos (however its spelled)? I'm tired of getting ganked, sometimes it feels like the asmos take turns ganking me... They camp the porter and kill on sight. I always see them in groups, 90% of the time in groups of 3-10. The day before yesterday, about 13 asmos raided the Eltnen Fortress itself. There were so many my game overloaded and froze and crashed at the same time (impressive). I can't level in Golden Bough Garrison either - It's like a local hangout for asmos. If you want to rift its fine, but when it comes to "moral terms" I thoroughly disagree with you asmo gankers (Not all of you are bad, but the gankers know who they are.) You have ridiculously high titles - from killing us lowbies. Do you REALLY have THAT MUCH free-time? I wish I did, but I don't. And the fact Elyos are famous for preferring to duel (the cool ones that help lowbies know who they are, and we are grateful for them.) It doesn't really help to be a lowbie... it makes me tired and frustrated... I have a short-fuse when my patience has been tried.inched:

 

To kill your rival faction is basically an instinct in this game.
