Textures Bug or something

Ok , so yesterday when i was playing aion, i stopped for a while and when i came back , this was happening:


Also i cant even go to heiron because the textures bug out and keep blinking:

But in the citys if i look to the ground or somewhere else its fine:

And i dunno if its a problem or not but i have the graphics like high - medium and the sanctum floor is like this:

It certaintly isn't a graphics card problem because i can play Crysis just fine, here's a pic from my game graphics:

and dont think so, never been able to not load a pic. could be coz its set inside an album and only u have access to it maybe, dunno

 

yeah , it happened yesterday , so i stopped playing and came back today and still having this problem.

Something similar happend to me sometimes with my old GTX260, but a reboot fixed it. It was related to the graphic driver. With the GTX460 it dont happend anymore (and btw this one is water cooled that helps to keep it stable).

I suggest you to install the latest stable drivers for your card.

On crysis you play on DX10 or DX9? Because Aion only uses DX9. Other option is to reinstall DX9.

 

I updated the graphics card from the control panel.
Didn't worked tho.

 

Ouch its a laptor.... If it is not well cooled your GPU may be damaged. Do you have any other DX9 game to test?

 

I tested it with Crysis , you can see the screenshot i posted

 

I dont have Crysis, but i think this game uses DirectX 10, instead of DirectX9 like Aion...

 

k this was weird, restarted my pc and router, loads fine now

my first guess would be a directx issue since its a dx9 game and ur card runs on dx10 (too new for it). try grab this, itll add the necessary files for it to be able to render graphics properly

id also turn off antialiasing, way too demanding and hardly any visible change

lower ur graphics. specially since its a laptop, turn off antialiasing and set shadows to minimum. at the very least ull get a much better FPS

there r 2 other things i could think of

install riva tuner, check that the driver files it lists when it loads r all of the same version (sometimes when u update ur graphics driver, it doesnt overwrite some older files and then ur graphics get fcked up)

 

naah , that isnt the problem , but i tried anyways , didnt solve it
