Update the client??

hi guys what happen if i use ncsoft to update the client to latest version of game? i will have problem, i will not be able to play??

if u do that, u might have to reinstall the gamez launcher, ur system.ovr for freefly and ur items.pak

my suggestion is dont do it as long as ur client works. those tiny changes dont even affect anything for us as we r a private server

im still running 2.1.0.3 and dont have any problems

 

I wouldn't update. 2.1.0.8 already had a few problems with our server, so I wouldn't update any further than that.

anyway if i make a copy of the folder....15gb lol ^^...and i update i can let you know what happens......if i have problem i will delete the updated one and restore the old.....what you think?

 

Retail Server is now 2.1.0.12

 

ull need to re link the aion.bin file in ur ncsoft launcher so it updates and runs the right one

yeah but we arent retail and the server files dont include all the things that r added to ur client

our server files r still 2.1.0.3 or so

 

im updating my client to 2.1.0.12

and i got error when im log-in my gamezaion

 

what error do u get

 

i forgot it... but the error pop-up on the log-in screen but not ip ban error..

 

I think i need to re-instal only the gamezaion luncher

 

yeah it probably told u ID and pass dont match coz u were logging into the retail server

 

noo not like that error.....

the error has a no.

 

But... no problem at this time cause my pc is defreze... ^^

 

anyway let me know if you finally logged in and if there is any chenge in first view tnx!

 

there wont be any change coz we dont have the necessary server files to actually implement any of the changes ^^
