Problem whit aion client.

Hey world,you know me(i really dont know if anybody of you know me,in game my name is Misskitt,Kittykitt...)I last play now 1-2 months.Now i want play it again.I got a problem...When i try to launch-->> Launcher->>Appear at me one image whit NCsoft normally,and then ...AionClient has stopped working.

I got directX...Update is already done...Please help me:sad:

 

Can you post a screenshoot of what are you getting?

Do you have the latest GamezAion launcher?

Hhave you performed a repair using the NCSoft launcher?

 

no need for a screenshot, its the typical windows not responding/crash msg

dont need the latest launcher either, mine is from like august and still works fine

id probably go with the repair first to make sure the client is updated (and then yea ull need to reinstall the launcher)

u can try run retail aion, the error messages it gives tend to be more specific. there r 2 different directx issues that it tends to give. 1 of them is that u dont have directx 9.0c so ud have to get it here

but the other wants u to update the directx that u already have so just get the latest there and then it should work

 

Yep,i do all these...Screnshoot...Sorry i dont have cus i just re-installed my aion(its in installing atm...)Its a black screen http://www.historycorner.de/HiPe/RichardGarriott/ncsoft.jpg like that,and after AionClient has stopped working.
Please check for a solution online.

I never understan why all this applications dont have a log file or at least an error log....

 

nope xD it just asks u to extract the setup files first (u can put them anywhere, specially since u can delete them after the installation) and then installs it as a part of windows

@Suzuri it gives u specific errors sometimes. if u run retail it specifically tells u to update directx. sometimes it cant find ur bin file or theres a problem with the XRenderD3D9.dll or the cry whatever files xD

it depends on the nature of whats causing it. this 1 simply means the game crashed be4 it can generate an error log (coz the error wasnt caused by the game but something outside it)

 

No, just unpack go to that folder, run the instal done

 

it actually autoruns the installation after extractions so u dont need to worry, but yeah i like to delete the setup files later
