wallpaper ?

Hey all.
erm yeah i desided to give photo shop one more try.
never been anygood and the still image work
(unlike 3d modeling i cant look around it its just flat ]': )
but anyway opinions ?
good and bad are all welcome.

A little too much white brushes pushing out. I would make lights with the "Dodge" tool. I would use the "Burn" tool to dim down the edges where the light is absent. Since the light is coming from in front of the girl make a shadow behind her using the burn tool. Do your best to stretch it out a bit. (Insanely difficult, but worth experimenting with).

There's 3 guys on each side, however their shadows are not following the direction that the light is going. An easy fix for that would be to use the "Clone stamp tool" and clone a spot on the floor that isn't shadowed, and place it over their shadowed spots.

Which program did you use for 3D work? I played with solidworks for a year. Best thing I made on there was a 20 centimeter rim. lol. Took a lot of work to make though. Very rewarding once I was able to get the matierial to have it printed out.

simply just wanted to see if i could get in to it really but idk.
just somthing about the still image i cant do. its imo just to plane
but then again im also not the kind of person who likes to keep going till im good haha

 

Yeah, every artist see's true art in his own way. I prefer still images. I feel that there is more room for reason, and interpretation in a "plain, and still" image. I draw out my emotions into it, exploring what I feel out of it.

You should have seen my first photoshop work. It was a Pos. lol.
