Theoretically our body will decompose if we would, lol. We won't know truly yet until there's some vehicle that actually goes that fast.

Stone age?? maybe in the High Paleolithic, you know when some of the basics concepts were already developed and printed in the walls as true art somehow (for us is art, for them it was just a refined way of leave an story behind)... That would have been neat.

Somehow i dont like the classic period of time (ancient egypt, Romans and ancient Greece)... Dont a real reason behind it, i could say it just dont appeal to me... Maybe in the time of the Roman Empire expansion.

Middle ages?? I find interesting the whole concept of honor and such, but it was all a disguise for people to rise to power and to abusse of other, like in every other period of the history of occidental man... But at the same time, wearing armors (that would be gothic period of middle ages, near XII century) should have been a real nice. The inquisition period and those centuries of darkness is just a show of how we can be real monsters, no matter the time we are in.

I think i would have been the happiest living in the time of the Vikings... Fighting for the Midgard, wishing to die in battle to enter the Valhalla where the braves may live forever... of course in the company of my 70 Valkyries. It was the only culture that had a religion that i find appealing, and also they were a society with a no bullshit attitude. Real men.

The Renaissance, was a return the classic times of men, but in company of a re-newed sence for science, art and mostly everything... of course wars, and the other things that we are so atuned to... to me at least the most interesting discovery of that time was the perspective (as way to interpretate it and use it in practical terms).

After that many other periods come, but i dont feel like tlaking those... those were not that interesting anymore... maybe industrial revolution...

I like the XX century... even with the wars and all, its like in 100 years we made a leap with the equivalent of all our history.

So, besides the vikings... I like to be in the future, Contrary to many i think the morals and ethics wil begin to blur more in the future.. new thecnology means, radical ideas that go against in the things that we believe in. But those feelings i think are the same that our ancestor had when they saw the shape of the things to come... If i had to pick an style of future to live in, would be the future despicted in the Aliens franchise.... big stellar ships, a dark universe. I know is a type of future despicted in a movie... but what the hell.. you can dream all you like.

But to be perfectely honest... You belong where you belong in the end... this does not mean there is a greater scheme of things. Is just that you are here now.

faster tha light travel?..... mmmmmm E=MC2.. you need infinite energy to achieve that speed. The only thing that moves at speed of light are photons (light particles)... and they can do that because they have no Mass to displace.

Maybe folding the space will be a way to travel faster than light... but the energy to bend Space is equivalent to a Big Star. Kind of far away of that just yet.

 

I'd want to go to Japan how it was back before guns. Some time like where samurai and the way of the sword was the defense of the people. Where horses were transportation with no cars and homes were simple and times were peaceful. I'm not at all a fan of the huge cities and all the guns and all that. I like the times things were simple.

I would very much like to be a Knight in the 23rd Century, Because i'm very fond of tech but also have the ways of a Knight of the middle ages, but i don't think that would work, the way people are in this age there wouldn't be a place in that world for me, i would my than likly fall on my sword just to get away from it all.

 

Ah, but under feudal Japan, it's not really easy and simple as you think it was.

Corruption and merciless killings happened everywhere. Well, to be honest, EVERY society had gone through that era one way or another.

 

Middle age, Renaissance... those are good if you dont mind inquisition, plague, slavery, famine and poverty. So unless you're a rich person i wouldnt advise to go there. Japan's samurai era is about the same (just watch Zatoichi movies (1962-1989) or Seven Samurai to get an idea of what happened at that time).

Well of course, but I really doubt it was as bad as say the bad parts of LA. The main idea was that it wasn't in my mind bad as things are now. Plus I just absolutely love Japanese swords.

U see kings and nobles in the movies but if u were born then, chances are u d be a peasant or a slave...not a very good idea

feudal japan...no way i could die in a flash bevause i overlooked a samurai
feudal europe ...if i survived famine and hunger i would caught up i a war and eventually have a horrible fate...
