the thing is this quest is super easy dunno why is such a chaos

 

becoz you can do it only 1 time on 1 char. so if u wanna have plate set, you need make 5 glads lvl 30 .

you don't need 5 glads, just 5 chars any size/shape/class.

 

Uhm, no.

If you make a temp, you'll get a sword/warhammer/GS/shield.
If you roll a mage/spiritmaster, you'll get a tome/an orb/sth else idk.
If you roll a chanter, Staff/Tome/Orb/idk.
If you roll a glad, GS/spear/sword/dirk.
If you roll a sin, Sword/Dirk.
If you roll a ranger, bow.


But each class can wear the whole set from another class, for example, my glad can wear the whole leather set and still be able to finish the weapon quest (with compensation suited to glads only).

If for some reasons, my sin can wear the whole plate set, I'll be able to finish the weapon quest with compensation suited to my sin.


And to get one full set of a kind, you need to have 5 toons of the same type [meaning that warriors get the same stuff, mages get the same stuff, scouts get the same stuff, and so are chanters.]

And you do know why the sets are so rare, right? Because they're UNTRADABLE. There's no way I can lend you a set so you can skip the set quests and jump right to the weapon quest.

That's how hard it is for collectors to go through [/sarcasm]

Also.. what server? I helped my friend get a courageous plate set.. and it was tradable.

 

i meant for the armor set. anyway, see, who would want 5 glads when you could get 5 sets of choices of weapons instead of just one?

 

I need the shield, there's no way my glad can do that.

Plus the weapon quest is VERY [I mean seriously] horribly tedious.

If you haven't lost faith in exp-ing/zerging/AP farming, you wouldn't start these quests to begin with.

 

exactly what i was talking about. hell said that you need 5 glads to get the entire set, i said you didnt. just 5 of any class would do, and using 5 is actually more advantageous since you can get more choices of weapons that way instead of just weapons from a set of choices (example, for glads: gs, spear, sword, etc.)

 

You do realize that I can't get a plate piece with a, say, ranger, right?

 

You just need 5 of the same archtype, 5 cloth, 5 leather, 5 chain or 5 plate pieces. The converting weapons to other weapons and sets to other sets npcs don't work last I checked.
