[Petition] Dyeing Cost.

I, Iniker, as well as many other players, are here to sign this petition asking for a lowered dyeing price (from the current 1 billion kinah/attempt)

As we all know, armors make our characters look better, thus leaving a better impression on others (along with many other factors such as personality, trustworthiness,...)

But, let's be honest, some of the good-looking armors in-game have DETESTABLE colors that come with them. And conveniently, we have a //dye function to fix that. The only problem is, the price for each try is sky-rocketing high!

Were the bandwith eaten up each time we dye, I can understand why the price is so high, but if not, why so? It only enhances us cosmetically, and doesn't have any other effects on others except for impressing them, I don't see why it has to cost so much for something like that.

Therefore, we hereby ask you to lower the price of dyeing to 10 - 100 million per attempt. I believe it doesn't cost you guys (the higher-ups) anything, and it brings a smile to our faces, knowing that dyeing won't drain our Kinah anymore.

Fashion here is already the most expensive commodity (remodels), if colour dyes are toned down price-wise it'd benefit most of us.

I think it should remain as its a good kinah sink method. If you think its expensive (1b for full set + hat + shield is ~150mil per part) you can always use cheaper ways to dye your armors (dyes and petals) with the restriction that some armors cannot be dyed.

 

And why would we want a "Kinah sink"?

Kinah isn't worth anything -> also hard to get except for selling mats and anu/elder items [which I doubt would do any good since mats are re*ardedly expensive, and elder is easy to farm.] Inevitably, the poor eat dirt for dinner, while the rich bathe in dyes and you-know-what.

Plus, available dyes are [admit it] usually unattractive.

TL;DR: For a feature that doesn't enhance gameplay whatsoever, do you have to make it this hard for players?

 

You answered your own question: less kinah on server the more value it has. You creating this topic is a proof for that, but you dont want to farm/grind for kinah to have an ability to dye any armor in any color so you suggested price reduction. As you said its luxury and "poor" should work harder if they want to "bathe in dyes".

Since the dye colors arn't exactly a precise science it becomes rather costly to get the correct color for your armor sometimes meaning you'll spend 10billion or more kinah just for appearances sake... of course it is optional but some armors just look like total garbage...

This isn't a suggestion. It's a petition, which we wrote to make it happen, not to suggest it to deaf and unwilling ears.

I rest my case. As if they listen to anything that can actually benefit us.

With the current 1tril kinah cap... it doesn't seem likely. I doubt it'll be lowered very much, at least.
