[Feedback] How are we, the GMs, doing?

Just as a matter of interest towards the favoritism thing, did you know there's actually only one other GM who spends the majority of their time on an Asmodian toon besides me xD? If anything the scales are tipped slightly in the other direction. All the others are on Elyos constantly trying to stun me when I log in

Albeit there's a difference between GM favoritism and developer favoritism hahah, tinfoil hat powers go!

Just as a matter of interest I added the Elyos fashion NPCs to my memopad of random things to spawn on server restarts earlier today after the massive Elyos flood until they get added to the permanent spawntable.

 

Thank you for the honest reply :> I don't think any of us will hate you for it. Although I have 1 disgreement, I don't think any of us necessarily prefer Asmos to the point of always fixing their problems first, in fact I think me and Alente are really the only majorly active GMs atm that would likely be playing an Asmodian if we were on our normal characters (I'm assuming this for Alente since hes always on his asmo GM). I would've loved to spawn those costumes myself but thats a rare command for GMs to have.

Still, even with my disagreement I really appreciate your feedback, hopefully if there is any preference of asmodians that I'm missing or if we aren't working hard enough in the first place to fix issues like that, we can fix it in the very near future.

 

i have been playing here a month or so, and other than events i have only had contact with 2 gm's. 1 was xoidlar and it was to ban a speedhacker which to my surprise happened rather quickly and with out any proof on my part other than for him to "watch" the alleged person plz. i was quite happy with the outcome and the response that i got after about 5 minutes of waiting.

the other was trustfire whom messaged me with "s" after i begged for a dye salesperson to be spawned. i have no clue if that was short for smile or stfu so I do not know how to 'rate' his behaviour other than 'curious'.

All in all i think things are pretty good on gamez, I have recently installed fraps so that i can hopefully help catch some of these speed hackers which are running amuk and ruining the game for so many 'innocent' people.

but maybe the asmos say that you spend too much time in Elyos..hhmm...
I'm not sure, but maybe the whole "You aren't over here so you must be over there" thought?
But the Dredge and Costumes definitely helped solidify the "rumors" and "thoughts" people had about it.

@fahq: Thanks, I appreciate the positive feedback about me, and keep it up I enjoy finding and recording some nice little tapes of these hackers :> I just hope people don't hate me when I go afk for a sec and respond to the reports a tad bit late xD

EDIT: @nina: Again xD I just read the edited part of your post, trust me I'd rather have someone being offensive to us and telling them how they're actually seeing the game from their perspective so that we can see the raw anger that players feel when certain things happen (because if we can't avoid having our best players feel like that, then we can easily lose our best players and then the community is a lot less of an actual community) than have someone smooch and kiss *beeep* telling us how amazing we are but not what we did to be amazing.

By all means you guys are welcome to PM us ingame if you stumble across any hackers, we're not omnipresent (yet) so we rely on the community to report hackers to us ^^

Well after delivering i'll say the best GMs IMO:
Albull, Edix, Zoda and Alente o.o oh and Chlora too.

And my most loved ones:
Angal (ofc) Jazz, and Albull.

Im too positive today, so dont expext more loving days for my part <.<

 

yes since we are talking about gm's .... i forgot about a gm event.... the one that crashed the server about a week ago where the elys were to defend bases and asmos were to attack them. were prizes given for this event yet?
