Remove threads from market sections of forum from appearing in Latest posts.

I always wondered why this forum don't support "read only" as punishment for not following rules?

good luck with that its been suggested ages ago

and yeah it would prevent traders from making 2-4 identical threads "by accident" coz they were in the "wrong section" (or at least make it less annoying for the rest of us)

 

this just means no one will have a good opportunity to sell certain items that might not be easy to vendor in-game. totally disagree. and I do agree it is a Selfish request.

u can browse the market section urself so if ur buying stuff ud see just selling threads all at 1 place nicely

besides, if u look at the thread titles its always like "LOOK HERE" or "~~~~~~~TRADE" or something retarded with no meaning, so its the same amount of work if not less since u see them all together

can also use the search box if u really want to

 

I expected this reply... you are probably the one who tries to sell something, am i right?
But if player wants to buy, sell or trade something he will visit market section anyway so there is no need to show it in latest posts.

 

to add to that, the market section is also sorted by the latest/most recent threads so its like ur personal, trade only most recent threads box

its seriously annoying for the rest of us coz we arent on the forums to trade, we r here to talk or help others, yet 8/10 recent threads r trade related, scrolling away all the people who actually need help

 

Understandable. But also realize this forum isn't just for you who want to make a ton of your own thread then talk on them. Sure I use the forum to talk to people also but I'd rather see the trade threads on recent posts also because it saves time needed to locate something. Man up and share the forum with everyone (including those who trade) you want quick easy access to a thread you talk in alot? Bookmark it.

totally missing the point how do u bookmark threads that dont exist? every person that needs help here makes a new one

u can only trade for 1 server anyways right? ask lautaro to split the useless market section by servers instead of races and u can have ur "most recent" 20 threads related only to buying/selling/trading only for ur server all on 1 screen without annoying the rest of us

the most recent threads box mixes them up anyways

u dont need to see crystal market
u dont need to see lumiel market
(assuming ur on siel)

so yeah its an annoyance for traders too coz all the sections r mixed up

 

If I was looking for help on the forum I'd bump my own post. besides I've seen plenty of people looking for help on these very forums and haven't seen you post there. Most of the time you just make those annoying What if? discussions but you don't see me *****ing about it then making a poll about it.

 

read the edit on the last post as to why its useless for traders to have it all mixed up in the recent threads box

and i guess ur blind then coz i post in the vast majority of those asking for help threads >.>

and just for ur information, there r bump restrictions for once per 24 hours so they get themselves infracted asking for help, great huh

 

This post shows that you're new in this community. But w/e your opinion is understandable too.

 

I don't care if you a "vet of this forum" all forums are the same for all P-server's. Just deal with the trade threads.
Btw don't try to intimidate me with your whole "im new to the community speech" I've been in the whole MMO P-server community for years now and it all works the same. Besides that I've been playing Aion since it came out so I don't need your lectures.

 

You've completely missed my point there.

 

Im a constant trader myself since I easily get bored on one class and trade gears for the other class. But I felt also that its not necessary for those trade threads to pop out on the latest thread because for me, as a trader, if i want to trade/buy/sell items I go directly to the trade section where I can view not only the latest thread but also those who were left behind but has a good chance for a trade. This will also minimize those spammers who bumps their trade thread every hour just to be seen on the latest posts and also those who are making different trade threads just because they feel it or they got bored on their old ones. So I voted yes obviously.

Ur just a guy that are really bored and has nothing better to do so u spend ur time in the forum checking for bullshet trheads. i think the forum should be an USEFULL tool not somth just to throuw ur random bullshet on it.

there should be a different section for WTT , WTB w/e threads that dont appear in latest posts. so whomever is REALLY interested in that can just check it.
