Stigmas Price suggestions! Please feedback

Hi,

I know there's been discussion about stigmas but the threads I found don't focus on suggesting solutions or go offtopic and die so please stay ontopic here and try to give your opinion so that this thread can be helpful to admins/devs.


Problem

• Stigma system makes Greater Stigma Skills too hard to obtain, especially in a x200XP high rate server as Gamez Aion, it breaks the flow.

Possible Solutions

• Make all stigma stones sell for kinah (AP is too hard and frustrating to gather when you're just building your character).
• Make Stigma Shards available in NPC or at least as Vote Rewards (actually that should really boost votes, in my opinion).

• If tyman is right and editing NPCs is against ToS, best solution that comes to my mind so far is to make Stigma Stone Packs available as Vote Rewards: Eg, a Chanter Stigma Stone Pack, with all advanced stigma stones that sell for AP for the chanter, for a good price that doesnt take a week to get.

Result

• Stigma skills still will have to be customized.
• PvP will be better thanks to Stigma system.
• Server will continue to be High Rate in every way.
• Stigma shard are a vote boosting opportunity without actually forcing anyone to get them with vote (farming them of doing the quest still possible).

Please try to reply just with helpful opinions and feedback to help the server be better!

 

@ the solution, i believe that that cant do that b/c that would mean changing an npc which would breach the NCSoft ToS and cause them to sue the server and shut it down. Thats why they havent added any random npc to sell good gear b/c of that fact. (From a much older post from Carl/Chlora i believe)

 

I would actually love to just see them sold by an npc for like 5k each like normal stigma skills and that same npc should also sell stigma shards for 1 kinah each.

on a side note: this Punishing Earth I is not sold by the regular stigma npc, and yes it is a basic stigma so it should be? It's actually not in-game anywhere, maybe the devs are working on it but i just figured i'd point it out for them

this is a 50+ stigma, the stigma npc only sells 1-50stigmas

 

I didn't know about that. Bet thing i can think to go arround the problem is to make them all available from vote rewards, with a decent price so that people can have several characters without loosing all their vote points.

It's a high rate server after all, so i think many people will agree it keeps the balance of 1.9 of stigma system and help the server..

can we add as many stigma as we want?????or a limited number

 

limited number, just like retail. if u could add all, that would defeat the purpose of have the system at all

 

but old players have all stigmas until 50 by auto learn....

 

thats why they are most likely going to get rid of the stigma system, and make it auto learn

and when u plan to do this coz until u do this the server is unbalanced.....(soz for my english)XDXD

 

Auto Learn Stigmas

face, is very difficult to play well, most players have all the stigmas and agent who entered the 1.9 has almost nothing, the downside is huge, going to self learn like it was in 1.5, server 1.5 was much better, now to my chain of four spells do not work, rarely run at least have to have self learn ... not to lose heart, thank you! :sad:

 

I'm still thinking and the best solution i can think of is Class oriented Stigma stone packs: So i go to vote rewards page and for 150 or 200 vote points i can get a pack with all chanter or all ranger adavanced stigma stones (the ones that sell for AP ingame).

That makes its faster for everyone, not having to go to the page to manually get the stones you want.

 

whats wrong with you guys? stigmas WILL BE AUTOLEARN so Relax w8 few days and everything will be fine.

Yes, but the perfection would be to find a way to retain stigma system, if prices cannot be edited because of Ncsoft ToS maybe other solution can be found so that stigma system can stay and help balance PvP, because having all skills in the game is a bit overkill

The goal is to reach the best equilibrium possible (for a x200XP server that is :sideways: ).

 

there, chlora says autolearn, they will probably do that untill they find a better way for the system to work

 

As of this moment you canf buy the lower stigmas from Clymene eylos / Vergelmir asmodian

The others up to lvl 50 i think, are sold by other NPC in a room near the other NPCs.

 

it says that there is no stigma slot available (i am lvl50) what to do?????

 

You need to complete A Sliver of Darkness quest.

You should have it active already btw.
