Why GamezAion is dying imo.

Economy is fckd up ya it is, the moar pvp on gelk may be solved when they solve the kisk bug i just made my sorc like a week ago (elyo sorc) and i cant go gelk :< cuz i cant bind to a kisk there's no fun at all goin there after 5 minutes and then get your ass blown to smithereens from a zerg rofl.

 

I think it is also lack of improvements in game, not just with zerg and dupers it is other stuff also.

 

I agree about the current state of the server (although I don't think there is one solution that will fix it). I'm not going to address dupes, because noobs with good gear are still noobs. The zergs are a much bigger issue, because even if you have good groups in masta/EGT fighting an even number of noobs in ABG the good group should win 9/10 times.

I lol'ed about elyos growing balls and pvping in gelk and belu. When I'm online, we raid there all time time, but it is so frustrating (especially Belu). We bring a group of 6 and start our raid, and without fail 5 minutes later we have a zerg of AKASENKASHY on us (I guess they need to protect their precious DP). Within 10 minutes of raiding there are anywhere from 30 to 75 asmos hunting down our group of 6. If we try to go somewhere else in belu (we usually hit up, Belu fort, Redmane, and hoarfrost) the zerg just ports and overwhelms us again. I will admit that gelk is still fun when we have a group - but I guess asmos have to wait for us to come. Inggison zerg vs zerg sucks and the core is 90% noobs who start wearing the elder gear they are farming - oh and also owned by asmos 95% of the time.

The best solution I could come up with - open a dredgion. Make it so any group (2-6 people) can enter to face a maximum of 6 people from the opposing faction - AND make it so you can enter anytime. Who knows, maybe it will even cause some faction balance if asmos sit queued forever waiting for a group of elyos.

 

most of ppl who keep posting something about zergs, is totally noobs and dont even have idea how to pvp normal, if you think gamezaion is zerging go to rentail when you will see red dots sea coming like an cunami ,im wondering how u gonna call it... about dupes , with that part ur right , its aint good and its not rly good to an server counting this one. but dont forget every private server has that problem. but due of high amount of ppl playing here its became like that .

 

1. Zergs :
i agreed, it sucks in so many ways.. theres no way u can go solo nowadays without rendezvous~ing a zerg or a group of the opposite race which equals dying [on my view point i feel like its quite a waste of war consumable, if u do that over & over again] & grouping with random ppl equals having some random-strangers pm'ing u "do u have extra scrolls / pots sir?" ..due to the chances of going solo again or having that party mate having a gap of advantages when facing another zerg or just because of way that the person asks for it politeness.. sure why not, rite? [equals less war consumables that u self crafted for hours in that alche-lab] & im guessing the Elyos bugged rank have somekind of negative effects on the quantity of elyos vs asmos in those ping-pong zone.. asmodians have greater number & have a high motivation to go to inggi 'cause they'd gain rank, while elyos only gained "kills/frags" which is why most of them stayed in cities & do duels.. duels = pvp~ing without losing or gaining anything

2. Dupe:
its a mess that has been done for too long & by too many ppl to start with, but its a fact that since the last update somehow it effects duping & kinda makes things more reasonable.. yet still, i dont think wiping everything is a wise solution ~ 'cause like i said its been done for too long & by too many ppl.. it already have many roots & if u think its only a tree, u're wrong 'cause by now its more like a forests.. & my guess is by wiping them will only encourage them to find new methods.. but whatevs, i play for fun but if things literally stop being fun anymore then umh ~ do the math

Since when, it's still as crowded, hell, even more crowded then when I started back in Oct.

Not everyones hates Zergs, I find them a lot more fun then solo pvp.

well i did too a bit. and it wasnt for me, since its takes AGES , and in the end result is same , pvp. im getting zerged everytime in igg. its how aion is. u just can be immortal. but you can do black list of ppl and later stalk them :>

If you say that GamezAion is just now 'dying', then sorry but you should of seen what it was a year+ ago.
The complete opposite server, and believe me, it was the better side.
So dupes,'zergs' which are btw a part of the game whether you like it or not, and an increasing brainless population w\ less quality PvP?

ofc duping is gay and ****s up the market but STILL. this is gear we should have from drop and bosses anyway and would probably have even more with all the ppl farming then. so i ay carl got him self to blame here. i do not support the duping but we should be able to get this gear from bosses anyway. just said he dont seam to carl about the drops or what the ppl on the server want.

 

my x20 masta sets x15 masta weps and "nonrareorstilltheyarerare?" wepons to ur gelk scrolls (c,mon u know they worth it, u need vip to trade em).

I am solo player... i agree with you, there are times that zerging can be fun when both sides clashes and fight without retreats.... which almost never happens, but when it does is really fun. Now its a rare delight to find 1 or 2 people to go against... always its a party or 2 partys. And when they kill you they insult or say you are noob... X_X

PVP is quite weird now...

Dupes well... i am still waiting for an 8 slot ABG armor to appear... with that the joke will be complete.

 

Find a way to preserve my legit ABG, and we'll talk again.

@dupers: yeah, the server econ is f***ed up, and a lot of item's rarity and value are lost. but think of it this way, with just a few creds, you can have masta set for all the chars in your acc.
@masta and other item wipe: well, that's not possible, coz it's unfair to those who got it legitimately
@no game improvements: yup, this is also the reason why gamez is being dull. I mean, some players find role playing as good as or sometimes better that PVPing. The feeling of being a "knight/assassin/rogue monk/renegade wizard" on a mission is insanely fun. Yes, some instances are working, but you can't run through the whole instance by yourself, and some people only go to instances for the items, and not for the role playing experience. And the drops are also an extra perk for those who want the role playing experience and a motivation for those who only want the items, but since some "fun" instances aren't working and most instance boss don't drop anything, all you can do now is just PVP. And in PVP you get all the problems mentioned above.
For the GMs, hell yeah, they're doing an insanely good job, in game and in the forums. They reply to you in game, host events, check on abusers. I'll give you "the finger" GMs, my thumbs up..
It's true that the server is dying, but just like all people, we're all dying, but some just die at a staggering rapid rate. Our server is dying at a rapid rate, it has Cancer, but even if cancer is incurable, it doesn't mean you can't recover from it. But yes, it may take a miracle to recover from the server's current state. All we can do now is to have hope and trust the staff of gamezaion(though they have disappointed us a lot). And if all else fails, and the server REALLY dies, we still have those memories of playing in this server, and PORN IS STILL GOOD AND ISN"T DYING!!!HELL YEAH!!!

 

if my SB party is not on, i solo in ingisson... you dont have to go with the zerg to gain AP... and even if my group is on we dont even go with the zerg...

and about the abyss barriers, i completely support you. i miss the times raiding teminon landing with my legionmates
