Can someone throw tirbucio out of this thread? Extreme nutbags like him don't seem fitting to be debating here.

If anything, I'd LOVE [read: FVCKING LOVE IT] to have been evolved from something beneficial like leeches. I will kill myself if every human being on this planet behaves in a useless and ignorant way like you do [guess what, we don't, I'm lucky then].

For anyone mentioning zeitgeist.... brainwashing cult of morons is what it is just as bad as any religion. While I respect all religions and those who practice them I do not respect the dogmatic foolish ignorant sacks of shit who lord over their believe. Seriously religion has caused more wars and hate then anything.

While I tend not to argue with people about the war thing, as war is inevitable regardless of if your beliefs are religious in nature, religion also causes a lot of good at the same time. While lives have been lost in the name of religion, many lives have also been saved in the same name.

I have seen no life saved by Religion to be honest. Something that drives people to think so narrow-minded has no room to save. There are those few exceptions though. Not everyone who is religious acts like that however most do and it's sad.

Looks like It's become a religion to hate all other religions.

It wasn't religion that caused the Native Americans and the original people in Australia to lose their land. The slavery, WW 1, WW2, The Great Depression, Korean War, Vietnam or Iraq. There is a lie in every war and history was built by the winners, don't believe the hype you see on your TV screens. We are living in a perfectly constructed lie that was carefully written throughout history. "It's all part of the plan".

Religion was the main motivation of Hitler's rise to power. As much as you'd love to say to me the government uses "the hate" of religion to influence us they also use the "good" part of it to influence us. I have just met too many ignorant people who practice it to want to have an affiliation with one. These same people are the ones who can't figure out what's really going on to begin with. Sorry if I offended you however I know what you mean and I still don't care Religion is not for me and as you are I am entitled to my opinion and just as you do I know and think mine is right.

EDIT: I have met ignorant atheists and satanist and their ilk as well that is why a long time ago I formed my own belief and way of living. Rather then associate myself with a group I stand alone and will always.

We are all entitled to our opinion I guess. We're both right in our own ways since we live in different sides of the same coin.

    Read my edit.
Also never assume you are actually right you are always wrong.
There is always a counter to your point and always a counter to your counter, there is always a bigger fish.

What I mean was you are only right (as you are wrong) on the way you have interpreted reality. Take a step out of the shell and enter someone else's and observe the person who believe he's right, you'll see just how wrong (as they're right) they're because they did not interpreted same reality.

I believe in God, a truth for me that is unchanged. I'm a great fan of science but then I believe that behind every creature that existed, every living and non-living that we could see, there is someone out there who made things as perfect as they can be. Like for example how do humans look perfect(structurally) to be able to do walking, eating etc etc normally? How do animals(literal) differ from us? Why are humans the only creature who is rational?

Well yeah for sure. People think in three different ways. Single angled from point a to be in a straight line. Some think a little differently in like a cube many more angles and points to connect. Then there are those who think in a circle.

Let's analyze the first bit of the Bible and the Quran.

On the first day, god created light, and separated night and day.

On the second day, god created the earth, sky, and sea.

On the third day, god created plant life.

On the fourth day, god created the heavens, the sun, the stars, and arranged the constellations.

On the fifth day, god created fish and birds.

On the sixth day, god created all the land animals.

Now, we can't analyze this on literal 24 hour days. We KNOW all this existed before the six thousand years ago or so when all this would have happened if not. Why do we know? For one, the friggin dinosaurs would have had to only survive one generation. Second, how far away are the stars? How fast does light travel? Some of the stars we see at night took billions of years to be seen in our sky.

So we must assume that the days are not earth days. But that too causes problems. We know that stars and planets are formed at the same time in the natural universe. Gas condenses and forms stars, while more solid matter come together and form planets, making a nice round shape thanks to how it spins around the center of gravity that is the star in that solar system.

So we have day one. Night and day are created and separated. Not sure where the light is coming from here, as the natural universe demands that light have a source. The big bang? But then we'd already have stars forming and Genesis removes that possibility outright. So I suppose god is just radiating light.

In day two, earth was made. First. The first bit of matter in the universe. The earth was made, water filled the ditches, and an atmosphere was created in the sky. Must have been cold though. No sun for warmth at all. The oceans would have had to be one big massive block of ice. Did he make the moon yet? We know the moon smacked into our planet at one point before life came around.

Third day. This is one of the most amazing days. Plants. With no sun or warmth. Ok, there's apparantly night and day somehow from the first day, but god didn't create heat yet. So we've got all this plant life thats surviving and probably reproducing for eons with no sun. It's freaking awesome.

In day four, god finally got around to the big bang or something. He made the stars, our sun, and arranged them into constellations. And I guess he sped up the speed of light a bit to make up for so many billions of years in distance so they could be seen. The ocean melted, and the plants didn't have to handle life in absolute zero temperatures.

In the fifth day, fish and birds were created. Wait. What? Fish are fine, but birds? Birds came after dinosaurs. Dinosaurs haven't been invented yet.

In the sixth day, the land animals were created.

On the seventh day, god got tired despite his omnipotence, and took a nap.

We KNOW this isn't how the universe was created. And an ancient text written by neanderthals that sanctions selling your daughter into slavery if the buyer is from an adjacent country will not sway me otherwise.
