Which orb is better?

i think u missed my entire argument in every post i said how attack speed is useless ^^

btw abg has casting speed of its own so ur not losing it

 

i'm just kidding Deme... orb = high dame, low magic acc, tome = less dame, high magic acc. i use tome because magic boost cap is 2k6, and my mb with tome now is 2k2 with tome, ( no buff, no add MS+27). and magic acc is higher than orb.

 

i have 2.6k mb, 9.7k hp and 1.75k MR, i can buff 300 more MR from our buffs, i can get 1.3k more m.acc from our buffs

so yeah i like having the highest dmg at all times while being able to resist and not get resisted

 

i not see ur post, u right, sorc never need auto atk, so why we need atk speed +19%, i dont know why Sema orb and tome had atk speed+19%, and sema bow and melee weapon not had that ???? in Aion global, taha weapon is so hard to get them ....

 

in war, u can buff anytime ???? my sorc:
set 1: 2k2 mb, 2k1 ma, 1k7 mr ( if buff: 2k6mb, 3k4 ma, 2k mr)
set 2: 2k2 mb, 1k8 ma, 2k mr (if buff: 2k6 mb, 2k8 ma, 2k3 mr)
i think better than ur set ( without buff)
remember when u buff, magic boost + 300 mb, ur mb is max.... waste
and born of stre too, + 500 mb....

 

well her argument was that attack speed is not only for auto attacks, but it makes ur animation once casting time ends faster. my point is that by not having it faster, i get a bigger advantage when using roots/sleeps etc coz it buys me time be4 the first spell hits

in every post where you said attack speed is useless for casters you were wrong.
Do you know why alukina's tome/orb on retail(EU) costs 200-300m (at least that was the price offered to my legion for them back in 1.5)?
Skill animation time depends on attack speed and cuz of that affects casters: the faster the animation > the faster you start to cast next spell or move > advantage over opponent.

that is wrong too. Spell hits when you end casting, not when you end animation.

 

which animation

for example, with glacial, does that affect ur hand movement only? or how fast that ice block drops on ur oponent. if it affects both then its not really an advantage vs immobilized oponents for me

And yes, backstell, you're gonna say "Attack speed is only for melee classes"

But it makes your character animation faster.

The way I see skill speed is this:

Skill speed = cast speed + attack speed

Cast speed : How fast a skill can be finished.
Attack speed: How fast your character moves while doing the skill.

 

the only thing nobody ever talks about is which of the animations it has effect on there is ur chars movement and then theres the skill effect animation (which takes place when ur char isnt even moving anymore)

 

both. And while you take your time for longer animation, opponent uses ghp and hits you back/runs away.

 

and while i take my time for longer animation, the opponent does nothing coz hes sleeping/rooted theres nothing to heal when its the beginning of the fight

 

really, sorc ( had cast speed + 20%, and atK speed +19%) will caster fast than sorc ( had cast speed +20%). in gamezaion ??? i really dont know that.

is there a difference for you in casting 5 skills for the same time u usually cast 4?

 

Well it's faster. That's kind of the reason why atkspd tomes/orbs are supposed to be rare.

I laugh and cry at people who remodel their sema/yammen/padma onto a vielle/masta weap. Ignorance is never a bliss.

i'm collecter, so i dont remodel anything, but if u can cast faster than, how about ur ping ???? i had high ping, so i like high dame than cast faster, because i never cast spell faster than who had lower ping than me

 

if you have high ping or bad reaction then faster attack speed wont help you much.

 

my ping is 800-1000, high???? thk ur information.
maybe we will need atk speed when AION update 3.0. In AION vision i see sorc use melee atk.... :lol:
