MS for sorc?

..does anyone know what a good ms build for a sorc(except for MB)?..and what's the cap for magic boost for sorcs?

 

all m acc, 2600 cap

 

..macc?..isnt that for spiritmasters?

U can go for different builds..
Depends if ur on siel or Lumiel, and ur style..

If ur playing in siel.. Just go for M.Res and that'll be it, not many ppl stack MR and those who do, you can just Use Supp of Focus and rape them, you don't even need 20 secs.. with 5 is more than enough..
if u wanna play on Lumiel it'd be a lil harder to choose smt.

 

It's very easy to kite for 20 seconds, also if you dont use any m acc you wont be able to hit full masta mr players with ele ward

 

I play with MR set, Ihave ABG Set, and MA Buffs, but u can Have a 2nd MA SET, Depents you

 

U also can use a Tome Armsfused and ofc u still got ur M.boost I Skill, which also adds 300 M.Acc.
Plus with a MR set u can solo much easier than using a M.Acc set, since Most of the stuns are magical dmg
Which means Assassins, Rangers and Chanters will obviously fail.
No Silence, No Sleep, No stuns = GG

U got 2 skills which add M.acc and above all u can't be stunned.
And for those with a MR Masta set, If they can't hit you.. then they'll fail aswell.

 

knockdowns wont be avoided still, and you cant rely on a skill that you have 1min 40 sec downtime on, not on zergy siel. 1800 is good enough to resist most if not all stuns which is easy to get with ward, or just do a mix and get 1700 mr and 2k m acc like me. Besides didnt you say you were full m acc?

 

Agreed on this 100 percent which is the main reason i have to sets as an archer. MRes and a Attk set. If i see a sorci i use the mres to deal with their sleep ect and when i see a glad or something that has alil more hp i pack on the attk set and seems to work find for me.

 

To duel or Zerg.. u can always use M.acc..
But for soloing.. I'd go for Mres for survival purposes, specially b/c of sins and rangers hiding.

I am M.acc.. but I use it mostly b/c I spent 1 year at retail and ofc I'm not playing on Siel, where u get all the stigmas.
In Lumiel I'm using Wintry tree + M.acc Set, which is much better to PvP, specially cos of elemental ward and most of the tactical skills and the possibility to 5 vs 1 or even 10 vs 1 if ur good enough, whereas a Zerg build not only gives u less alternatives, also u can't really PvP with that Build.
That's the reason I adviced a MR set in Siel.

I believe the TOP sorc in that server has that set and the top one in Lumiel uses MR aswell.

But I still love my M.acc Set, and nothing will change that.

 

..wow thanks so much..u guys really are a big help..im only wearing egt as of the moment coz my main is a ranger and i do solo pvp..so mres+14 on the whole set and mboost on orbs?..and if any of you are kind enough can u post some pvp skill combo that i can use?..thanks i so appreciate it!

 

There sn't a basic pvp combo tbh, Since u can try lots of combinations.. However, the basic combo to pwn most of the melee classes differs between ur stigma build. personally I use Root, Curse of Roots, Lava Tempest + Delayed blast, Ice chain (1st skill only if the player has UD), Frostbite, Soul Freeze, Wind Cut down, (if he gets close enough, blind leap, otherwise keep the combo), Inferno, Flame Harpoon + Freezing wind.

U can also use Silence + Aether hold, except for glads and temps in UD, which would be a waste of mana and casting time.
Glacial shard and flame spray are great Damagers.. however the casting time they got isnt't worth it imo.
But u can always replace Inferno for Flame Spray or Glacial shard, since the opponent would be slowed and he'd take the full damage with no ++elemental defenses. But that if ur on Siel ofc.
In Lumiel I'd stick to my basic combo

vs Other classes, u'd better find out a way to beat them since it's not really easy if u pvp vs an experienced sorc / sm.

edit: Try to get at least 2.3k on Mboost w/o Robe of Flame, it also helps when it comes to PvP.
And on the orb u can stack Mres and some Mboost if u want.. Or u can go for M.acc on a Tome.. dunno.. it's your choice.

 

That's how I wanna go with stigma on Siel.

Explain: a hybrid build which is to be used with a magic resist set, it allows the user to deal with other MR users and be really defensive as well. From the offensive tree, all I wanted to have but can't (because of the stigma system's balance limitations of course) is Arcane Thunderbolt, I believe I can go w/o it tho

Basic combo (w/o any UD-like skills): Root -> Lava Tempest -> Frostbite -> [Vaizel's Wisdom & something else for offense] -> Soul Freeze -> Aether's Hold -> Wind Cut Down -> (Lava Tempest should hit right now) -> [If you think you've got the time] Ice Harpoon -> Magic Fist.

That's pretty much a deadlock when you have the AH available

 

critical attack, cuz magical crits are overpowered.. 15k glacial, true story.

 

for me.. i do both.. i have two set full MR and full MA.. full MR if i fight against ranger to keep me on,because their silence arrow so annoying XD
and full MA if i fight with other class.. specially against sorcer.. mostly in siel all sorcer go for MR,and full MA makes full MR nothing ^^..
but i still got problem in pvp,i cant guessing my opponent are ranger or not.. its take time to change all set XD..
but basicly i put MA in my priority ^^
