How do chanters fare in pvp?

Mmm, just a little curious. They got nice heals and buffs and ish. But....how fast do they dps when they really need it? Are they only a support class?

 

if they are with full attack they are great at damage.. if they are with MR they don't damage that much but they survive longer.. they are not only a support class with buffs and heals.. they can also solo

 

They can stun, knockdown, and swing you around pretty nastily.


But they get killed kinda fast [or my friend isn't that good with being an attacking chanter, she sure can heal as much as a cleric though]

but there are pros and cons... Attack build means you can hit badly everything and win also glad easy but you die too easy from a sorc
MR ... you die from glads and survive from sorcs .. even kill them if they don't leap all the time

 

Thing is when I play my glad and i see a chanter i usually just > crushing blow > cripple, draining, final, and they die D: I dont wanna be that suishy lol

 

Well that's how no stigma works.
Some classes are just more OP than others.
Tho I can't say much because I don't play chanter.

 

Yea, seems like it would be hard but...I haven't seen any good chanters so I wouldn't know D:

Depends on how you play it. I can beat most classes such as sins, SMs, rangers and temps pretty easily. Gladiator is the toughest for me and usually has me healing myself to stay alive if they are in full ABG.

 

Those are noob chanter. They have slow reaction.

 

I duno about you guys but i got kicked in my ranger butt badlyyesterday by some crazy ely chanter sexyheals or something..not sure atm.

I am playing Chanter as main, and to be honest, I felt tired when I enjoyed playing Sorcerer because the fact that I don't get any kills with Chanter is just pretty annoying. Though I still prefer my Chanter than my Sorcerer because even I only wear full EGT (I know not that bad) I don't die like a paper like my Sorcerer I love the buffs that makes me stay like for real stay in the middle of the zerg. Being raped yet still there struggling LOL!

I asked some friends why others hate Chanters and I guess I have figured out why. They stun big time that makes the opponent helpless. Like uber stun, knockdown if the chance is big.

 

Same here. I can even tank on my chanter+heal+kill. But for some people, they QQ when I do that. Idk -.-"

 

Ooh yes! What usually people QQ'ing about when in duel. NO HEALING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Also got to say, chanter & assassin was best in 1.9 where you can stun lock to death. I miss those moment
