God knows where to put this so i will just put this here since i gues its kind of freestyle painting xD

Anyway THread copied from NZXT forums because im lazy!

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Would like to show my current phantom.
Its still a work in progress and im taking it slowly since its my first casemod and first time using spray paint(u can probably see on a few pictures :))

    Anyway hardware being used:

    - Asus crosshair formula IV mainboard
    - AMD Phenom X4 965 black edition CPU
    - ATI Radeon HD 5870
    - 8 Gb DDR 3 GEIL Black dragon memory
    - Crucial 64 Gb SSD as main drive
    - My current second drive is a 500 Gb disk, since my 1 tb disk died a while ago.
    - OCZ ModXstream 700 wat

    What i currently did.

I had a white phantom and no disrespect to NZXT but the white from the Front and top parts was "Brighter" then the side panels.(must be because of different type of materials.

After a while i was kind of getting tired of the white so i decided to give it a new color.
Used Anthracite grey as the replacement for white and a bright red as the replacement for black.

Some pictures of the painting and remember, its my first time painting anything like this and especially using spray paint.
Pictures are not the best quality, but u will get my point:

What i still need to do:

    - need to finish the painting, as some parts like the top/front and foots need some rework.
    - Complete cover for PSU so it won't be visible even if side panel is removed.
    - Rework the side window since my side panel cannot close now X_X
    - Replace the blue leds used for power button and fan controller with red leds.

    And probably enough other stuff.
Hope u like my work so far :)

Am I the only one in this server who doesn't have a seriously cool rig, yet still rocks Aion [and some other games] at max?

my rig is not so cool anymore. While rebuilding the case, somewhere along the process my mainboard got ****ed.
Its still working, but everytime i turn on my pc, i have to clear CMOS before it works xD

Anyway, share ideas or stuff u did to your PC cases if u did anything custom to it xD

No cash on me, couldn't afford a rig.

Dell Inspiron i580 with a 5770 slapped to it

Despite its horrible reviews, I've rarely had a problem with it.

Will start making one later this year. For now, my babe still maxes Aion out at ~80fps

thanks. and yes for my very first time i was proud of the initial result. but if i look at it now, the top/front part can get better if i repaint parts of it. Just need to get mkore paint first :)

    UPDATE:

No good weather today, so no painting.

    Did do some soldering stuff

These used to be blue leds, now they are orange:

On assembling the whole piece, i think one led broke off X_X, so gotta re-open it and do that led again.

These leds were also blue, now orange:
