[LIST] Common Problems + Fixes

What up guys,​

There are a lot of people who I, or other people, have to explain how to fix some problems over and over again. So I decided to make a list of some problems and how to fix these. I will be adding more and more by the day! You can PM me if you want a [problem + fix] to be added. Also I started adding Guides and Tips

----------------------- Problems --------------------​

:unsure: I voted and didn't get my reward!
- This is highly probably because you didn't log out before you voted. As you can see on this page you need to be logged off for atleast 1 minute.





:unsure: My game is in Korean language?
- This is a problem in your ''L10N'' folder. Demi already provided a guide how to fix this. Click here!

*EDIT: I just recieved a visitor's message that he/she can't download it somehow, so here is my own L10N. Click here




:unsure: ''Game is not available in your country / Cannot connect to the authorization server''
- Also a problem in your ''L10N'' folder. Open up your NCLauncher, hit CTRL+S, and it will open the setting section. Set country as ''North America'' and click OK. It should update your game after, but if it doesn't: Replace yours with this link.

(Cannot connect to the authorization server might also be caused by the fact that the server is offline for an update or another reason.






:unsure: The client gives an error when I try to launch the game!
- Probably this is a problem in your ''bin32'' folder. There are different ways to fix this:
1. Repair the game.
2. Delete the ''bin32'' folder and let your NCSoft launcher update this. Though this doesn't always work.
3. Download my own provided, CLEAN ''bin32'' folder I uploaded. Extract my provided download and replace it with yours.
Don't forget: Always make a back-up of your files before you replace something! Click here to download the ''bin32.rar''


:unsure: I can't teleport to the next map?
Always do the first quest of the map. This quest will pop up when you get in the town at the correct level. It's an easy quest, you only need to speak to 1 NPC and you're done. This will also enable other campaign quests!

:unsure: I didn't recieve my event reward!

An event takes a lot of time to set up. The GM's have to read all the logs, and trust me, that's hard when 100 people are PM'ing you in a short amount of time. It means, that it takes an average of 3 or 4 days to get your reward mailed. Sometimes it's in a day tho, so let's keep it at 1~5 days.

:ninja: How to set up a quick combat log ''radar''
1. Make a new chat tab.
2. Change the name to ''Radar''
3. Open up the settings, Combat-Others, and tick all the ''Enemy ...'' boxes and make them red so it's easier to notice.
4. Done!

Also don't forget if you post your problem in the problem section, don't call it like ''PLS GM HELP'', be more precisefull about your problem, and don't use some huge font.

sir can u help me ..i can't sell at the broker and i can't trade items like anuhart and tahabata to my other char

 

Weird problem , comes up with other ppl too from time to time

The game crashes right before the login screen..but only if i have installed the 'new 1.9 items.pak' recommended & upped by Slushe .. BUT it doesnt crash on win7 (i have 2 systems on my pc xp & win7) that means the game is ok there is an issue with xp..also if the game has the original 13.9 MB items.pak it doesn't crash on XP , weird eh? Do you think replacing bin32 folder w/ provided & clean one will fix this (it started out of the blue , i didnt do anything at all, it was working yesterday doesnt work today..weird):sideways::sideways:

Well if your game crashes only when using the 1.9 items.pak then there is something obv something wrong, missing or invalid file or something. I'd say repair or reïnstall everything. If you repair u also gotta reïnstall Gamez. And download the file patch here : *currently not working, disabled server side* http://forum.gameznetwork.com/showthread.php?t=5511&highlight=items

The link to the L10N folder in my guide works perfectly fine, I'm not even sure why you would include it here when it's stickied, also this is basically just a smaller version of -- Lakhane's Global Guide List --.

I blocked you on msn because you added me just to flame me, don't try to use that against me. This isn't a troll, and my previous post was not a troll either. I'm simply stating that there's already a list similar to this, except bigger. The only thing that's remotely unique in this guide/list is you saying how to make a combat log radar. Take it as a troll/insult if you want, it's not of my concern that you do not take criticism well.
