[Numerology] What number are you?

My friend and I have been talking about something interesting over dinner. Thought I wanted to share it to you guys.

Numerology is a system, practiced for ages, wherein you can discover traits of yourself to progress wisely in the future. There are different methods on which you can use these numbers for your benefit.

One of the things he taught me was birthday numerology.

Basically you get your full birthday, for example:

August 9, 1969

Break it down to its numerical format:

8 / 9 / 1969

You add the numbers as:

8 + 9 + 1 + 9 + 6 + 9 = 42

You need to get a 1 digit number as it will determine your "Life Path" number, so we keep adding the digits until we get 1 digit left.

4+2 = 6

So our example's "number" is 6. Let's see what 6 means.

So these are the following Life Numbers with their corresponding traits:

• 1 - You like to be number one. You're independent, an overachiever, and you strive to be the best at what you do. You're a great leader, you almost always get what you want because you know what you want and you know what to do to get it. You've got a strong personality, you take immediate action and you can drive people to be the best at what they do.
  
  
• 2 - Twos are kind of like 1s; they know what they want, they can get what they want, but they're not really into fighting for it. They're more of a lover than a fighter. They symbolize kindness, balance and equalization. They think before they speak. 2s have a more level head when it comes to judgment. A friend who's a 2 makes you think twice about your decisions and make you decide on what's better for you.
  
  
• 3 - These people are expert Communicators. They can express themselves clearly and creatively. In this area they are quite versatile at what they do, since they basically express themselves from the way they walk to how they arrange their desks. They don't get what they want as soon as number 1s, but they will get it with a little help from their friends.
  
  
• 4 - Number 4 people are strong-minded individuals. They've already gone through so much in life that they're fortified with great strength, endurance and stability. They have a strong sense of home and belonging, and they get what they deserve from their persistence. Number 4s remind you to be patient, to keep going, and not to give up. Their well-grounded nature doesn't mean they're stubborn, it just means that they'd rather be at home than somewhere else.
  
  
• 5 - 5s love freedom, adventure, and movement. They're unpredictable and random. 5s show you how amazing and wonderful life is, that there is peace within chaos. 5s love to travel, and they can't just stay in one place. They're usually there to whisk you away into some journey that's both exciting and unreal. Remember, trips aren't all necessarily taken physically. Some of the best journeys are taken in the mind and spirit.
  
  
• 6 - 6's are light, bright, "angelic" people. (You'll know why I placed angelic.) They represent a forgiving soul, and they beckon us to be compassionate at situations. They reveal solutions in a calm, unfolding manner. 6's are the best people when diplomacy is called for dealing with sensitive, serious matters as they consider both arguing sides calmly and fairly. They're friends you can always count on, even when you rage at them they can fairly tolerate it. Honest, compassionate people, these 6's.
  
  
• 7 - 7's are mysterious inquisitors. They activate our imagination, bring out more out of ourselves as these people are usually intellectuals who have far surpassed their libraries. You wouldn't know if they are there, or if they're not there, but they are ever-present; Such is the mystery of the 7. They speak out only when they have to, and when they're not needed they're usually not there (but they still are). Quiet, intelligent, and often misunderstood, the 7 is a friend you have to earn your trust with in order to get to know him/her better.
  
  
• 8 - 8 people are naturally wealthy. They know how to make money without even trying. When it comes to matters of business and finances, 8 is always an expert at it. No doubt. They obtain their wealth because they are strong opportunists who won't stop until they succeed (and they usually do). The more they make money, the more they make money.
  
  
• 9 - People who are 9s are family-oriented, well-rounded achievers. These people make the best mums and dads, bro or sis, uncle or aunt (and so on and so forth) as they can bring out the best from anyone, along with their comforting nature and understanding manner. They can balance things easily (Career + Hobbies + Family + Friends) and they tend to be very influential people as they usually have strong (but agreeable) personalities.
