New PC help

Hey everyone.

Honestly I dont know jack about computer parts...etc
My old pc was a blackbird 002 by hp. I decided to get a new one but learned my lesson not to spend 4000$ on another pc haha >.<
i went to ncix store, they helped put together this build for me. Just want to know what you guys think.

Im Gonna use old keyboard,Mouse and I use headphones thoses are by steelseries but i think keyboard and mouse are by voodoo? Theyre old but ohwell..

Actualy my BMW M3 was 75,000 2010. I love haters. And its not showing off, its seeing if i need any tweaks for this pc build.

..very good config..u can oc ur cpu to 4.8ghz with ease on that if you upgrade it to corsair h70 water cooler..8 gig ram is much plenty and will make it really fast..suggest upgrading ur power supply to 1000w and upgrade the graphics card to a gtx 580 or 590 if you want to get the high graphics configuration when aion 2.5 comes in..i myself have a 5970 overclocked to 900mhz/1200mhz config and plays aion at 120 fps at max..as for overclocking, just ask ncix if they can do it for you for a fee..

so i would buy phenom x6 3.4
and a ati 6970...

Why 1000 watt power supply?
Sandy bridge runs on 125 wat, graphics card run on around 250 maybe 300. 1000w is overkill unless your planning to go SLI or crossfire.

And from the looks of it. nice system, but comparing it to the rest, your graphics card is weak lol(it will do the job, but still)

or maybe u should get a Radeon 6950. Its flashable to a 6970 xD

 

That's overkill. From the looks of it, yes the graphics card is weak in comparison with the other components. Although, that graphics card can already run most of the latest games with full AA and maxed out settings. It is not necessary to upgrade it unless you are a benchmarking addict or you'll be using the PC for rendering and other graphics related projects. However, if you are willing to build it future proof or you just want to waste your money by getting all of the latest components then I suggest that you get the 590 sli and upgrade your power supply to 1000 watts. Might as well include full water cooling on the CPU and GPUs.

 

Insane buil mate. I would say go for it, but one thing if you are going to use it for gaming i would go for AMD
