Then I'm sure this person that's clearly infected with the Marburg virus has a bit more to worry about than being charged with murder.

Yes if the person/carrier is aware that he/she is an HIV positive. Obviously.

As much as possible if you don't even know very well the person you're having sex with then avoid unprotected sex.

It's a crime to a certain degree but not totally.

If knowing you have HIV is a crime in case of transmition, then i ll never take the test again because if I know it I maybe falsely accused by transmiting it

Your perception of scale is nonexistant. People with HIV can control their own contagion level. If they are abstinant or refrain from sharing needles, they are harmless to other people. Transmitting HIV when you know you have it is a conscious decision.

Well i'm pretty sure, by far many would categorize this kind of act as a crime since it's results could be fatal for that other one. Although never heard of a legal case about it.

No comment on people who refuse to get checked and are unsure about their status and still continue to have sex without protection. It's very selfish and evil.

Every single person on this planet is aware of the HIV virus and knows how contagious it could be as it's easily transmitted by just having sex with one another using no protection. Most people get checked on a regular basis and they are more likely to prefer friends with benefits situations over 'protected' one night stands with strangers.

P.s HIV is not the only disease known to worlds history, there are worse diseases that are deadlier. It's a gift to us that we have the ability and strength to get over the devastating events. Support from family and friends or maybe a career goal, our passions, dreams etc.

Imagine criminals who spend their 30 years in jail. Do most commit suicide? I doubt so. Or people with no body parts, blind people, deaf people..you name it. There are children who were born with HIV or other diseases. They didn't want to born sick and had no choice at all.

Why would one be so insecure about it and choose not to face it but instead spread the virus to the healthy people who trust them ?

I think it's crime if they r having sex with people who don't have it w/out protection if the person who has the HIV is aware. That is why people go to the doc to get check ups >.>....GO TO THE DOC TO SEE nublets

according to medicine ad wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiv

check the transmission section of the article the worst chance via sex is considered 1.7% per act.

How u gonna prove in a court of law that a particular person transmitted you the disease and not another person or via blood transfusion?

HIV is not a crime it s a disease and a serious one, we must see it seriously or we r all in danger
    criminalizing patients makes things worse.
