In my country it is a crime to spread deadly diseases when you didn't inform the partner of the risk and it is a good law in my opinion.

Fortunatelly? Dude in our times and with present medical knowledge about the diseases transmition and consequences of unprotected sex while carrying diseases you still think it's OK to not tell your partner what she/he can catch from you?
You wouldn't care if your beloved daughter had sex with a dude with HIV and she got it from him cuz he didn't tell her he is carrying it??
What kind of person are you?!

If you have it, you have a moral and ethical responsibility to tell your partner. Laws just codify these values because they want people making the RIGHT decisions. I don't care how much you try to defend those people, it is no doubt WRONG to not tell your partner and knowingly transmit the disease. Criminalizing it goes along the ideas of premeditated murder. You knew beforehand what you were doing could very well result in the death of someone, and you went ahead and did it.

If you did not know, then there is no reason to get into trouble. But comparing HIV to other diseases is a HUGE logical fallacy. Stop trying to appeal to inappropriate analogies and look at the facts. HIV is not simply a very effective killer, it causes great pain. You're selfishness will cost someone their life, and in my opinion, more countries should take measures to criminalize it, since there are plenty of stories of people who take pleasure in transmitting the disease to others. It's disgusting and needs to be stopped.

Thanks for providing us a good example of the Fallacy called "Dicto Simpliciter". FYI, Passive smoking cannot instantly cause death although it may lead to diseases like lung cancer and such.

U read but u must be immune...to reason.

I NEVER SAID IT S OK
ofc it s not ok but everything it s not ok isn t a crime that should be punished be law.

It would be also my daughter s fault if she made unprotected sex.

U r urself s worst enemy because of ur lack of knowledge of the virus. take ur chance given here and inform urself instead of trying to play the smartas s

HIV cannot instantly cause death allthough it lowers the immune system and that would lead to other diseases that could prove fatal

Law says what is right and what is wrong, it's not a surprise that some countries stoped being blind about this problem and people are punished for it.
It is wrong to do = it should be punished, cuz you literally spread pain, financial problems and death in this case to another person and you are awared of the risk you bring.

I doubt you would just say it's her fault and let the dude be unpunished if that happened, unless you are really heartless and stupid like you prove us all the time.

OMG seriously. I'm not trying to play as "smartass" I was basically following the basics of presenting an argument and FYI my post was directed at your fallacious example and not about HIV. I did not talked about HIV in my post instead I pinpointed the fallacies in your example about passive smoking. Yet you committed another fallacious act by distorting my post into something "HIV cannot instantly cause death allthough it lowers the immune system and that would lead to other diseases that could prove fatal".

Do not compare me to your idiocy. I know very well what's an HIV, an STD, an AIDS. I didn't even claimed nor said that HIV instantly causes death. You just distorted it with your twisted fallacies.

lmao. Talking about yourself. You don't even present valid and clear arguments and you call yourself an adult.

You are contradicting the Majority of the answers here that Transmition of the HIV is a crime if the carrier is aware. If it's not a crime then what is it? Ignorance? Tell me. Tell me.

The fact it's a virus doesn't make you innocent for spreading it around.

Weren't you leaving 2 times already?
