    The matter is not so obvious as u think it is...I knew I would be the minority supporting this initially. Because in contrast to most ppl i m not afraid to support minority if it s on the right track. I saw much missinformation about HIV here which is a pitty.

    And another thing.

    There are laws that criminalize HIV in UK and Australia since 1990. Also since 1990 there are very few trials taking place and even less convictions, with thousands that have died from this disease in those countries

    Don t you find that a bit odd?

    Less convictions doesn't necessarily mean it's not a crime. It's still a crime since someone else is being convicted. So how does it relates to your story? :) (I call it a story) BTW I'm curious which minority are you talking about? The people(you) that thinks "Having sex/unprotected sex with someone even though I know I am HIV positive is not a crime" mentality? lol. You still haven't answered my question logically.

    If transmitting HIV even though a person is aware that he is a HIV carrier/positive is not a crime? Then what is it?

    HIV - is a virus.
    transmitting(means passing/spreading) HIV even though the person is aware he's positive is what? If it's not a crime then what is it?

    What is cancer? is it a disease? cancer is created by genetic mutaded food. So I farmer that adds genetic mutation to crops is a murderer? so why authorities don t arrest them?

    Anyway I decided this community is not mature enough to deal with this delicate matter.
    But i can t leave u to ur HIV ignorance so i ll make a new thread how to protect against HIV.

    More like Please close the thread because my stupid ideas and fallacies are being questioned by more mature people. Seriously why don't you verify first what you are posting here. Cancer can be genetic/hereditary, could be from pollution, and or probably from the foods that we eat it doesn't necessarily mean from Mutated foods like what you are claiming. *sigh*

    BTW I think we could learn more about HIV through google. Please close the thread dear Mod's as Thread starter requested.

    you can't proof of where did one get cancer from, and there are million and one thing that cause cancer, some of them are in nature some are things like cigarettes that one of 3 people uses daily, you can't compare knowingly purposefully giving someone AIDS to selling him a pack of smokes.

    of course that in having sex both partners take responsibility, but people are dumb always were always will be, you can't say that the guy who intentionally gave his sex partner HIV is not a criminal because the partner didn't tell him to use a condom.
    if after this you are still not convinced i have nothing to say to you besides that you are absolutely retarded.

    Cancer is caused by things called carcinogens. They are found from items such as the sun to everyday plastic. Some things increase your chances of getting cancer such as staying out in the sun too long or smoking any substance, but you can't make one party guilty of your cancer once you get it. Your analogy, which was very inappropriate, to HIV is false because there is one cause of HIV. You can pinpoint the guilty party.

    Also, yes, cig companies don't take the fall because of business reasons. You'd be surprised at how much government policy is motivated by money. When dealing with purely ethical questions, in my opinion, it SHOULD be made a crime. Thats my thought based on my morals, values, and ethics.
