That said, I dunno who would want to stick around after being told to kindly gtfo.

 

For the most part thats true in a lot of scenarios, but meh its also not hard to avoid being warned or infracted if you know the rules and such and do your best to follow them and/or be a nice/helpful person in general.

I disagree with this statement, actually. And I often find that people with GM tags are most often better moderators than people with mod tags. Game Master is a title given to a community leader. I fail to understand why that would mean less on the forums and why gamez has it broken up into two categories as it does.

 

I gave warning/infraction based on reports and confirming the rules violation. So it's not random without a reason.

I should warn you that in the rules that no one can find anywhere, you can't post infraction contents in public.

 

Game Master is a title of people who are responsilbe for the game. Moderator is a title of people who are respinsible for the forums. Its not really hard to realize that GMs should have powers over the game related forum sections, while Mods should have the power over more sections on forums than GMs.

On forums Mod > GM sipmply because GM should have more free time to spend on things lated to the game and the satisfaction of the players, not the forum members. Hense GMs should have powers over report/ trade sections and focuz on them mostly.

Not talking about you dear but about my past in Gamez here =)

You are thinking of it as two separate positions, and even two separate communities. The system itself doesn't make much sense. All GMs should be moderators, and should have moderation rights on all forums rather than just specific sections. It should be consolidated into one global position. Making them different groups is less effective.

*GM sees advertisement spammer making 2536587 topics on forums*
*GM spams infractions, but can't destroy the threads because he lacks the power to do so*
*GM tries to find moderator to do it instead, but no moderator is on for an hour*

See why?

Actually the GMs have more mod powers than the actual mods who are now just babysitters for hot spam. Either way 4 warnings and an infraction is really messed up as it should normally be just 1 warning and then infractions. This is why GMs and Mods should be separate and why the GMs need to focus on their duties in game and not moderating the forums. I've seen servers get completely destroyed by this in the past.

 

The only mod is Bella ..not even because she's online 1 time in 3 days

 

Shes the only mod with actual mod powers. Trolololololololololololol
