What movie are you watching?

I can tell about my experiences working in a haunted movie theater. Or the time that I was attacked by a shadow person.

 

Well from what I heard; ghost can physically hurt you, not sure how but it seems like they can.

Watching a movie and using the forum at the same time?

 

Not if your house have secrets, from what I heard house can only be infested by a spirit if the spirit lived there and died there or some event occurred around your house, other then that I don't think a ghost can just magically walk/fly up to a house and say "Yep this is the house I want to haunt" and you will know if your house has a ghost with the chilling cold air, or your pet start acting unusual.

 

It's funny because we have in our kitchen a few statues with lights on them and the switch is very hard to turn on. Well we had one of our dogs pass away right near one of those statues and after that night in the morning the statue had been turned on and none of my family did it.

Ghost are mainly the cold air and feeling that your being watched, but when you start getting hurt or harmed it's usually from a poltergeist of which it's usually a tormented spirit that has a reason for being there and doing what it does. Ghost are rarely this type, but I have heard stories. Mainly they had passed in the location and it's as if giving a sign that they are there.

They can not only hurt, but they can also kill. Most ghosts act pretty much the same as they were in life. If the person was nice then the ghost is usually nice, if the person was mean the ghost was mean, and most just simply want to be left alone. But there are other far more dangerous and scary entities out there. Like the mysterious thing that haunts a house in London, Britain that has actually been responsible for people dying, and others for going insane. Then there are elementals that seem more interested in "protecting" their territory and won't hesitate to do harm to anything or anyone that they consider an enemy. Then there are the demonic spirits and those things are just bad news period.

And there are also mysterious "shadow people" that little is known about but they're usually hostile. They like to frequent homes where there is a lot of negative energy such a family that has been through abuse by one of its members, or someone who may have heard some really bad news. And the houses they visit don't even have to be "haunted" per say.

I had one come to me one night shortly after I returned home from my deployment in Iraq and it appeared near the foot of my bed. It looked me straight in the eyes, and I was at first literally paralyzed with fear. I'll never forget those red, glowing eyes. The thing just sent off a vibe of peer evil. After staring at me for a bit it started to slowly move towards me. I managed to get over my fear and got really really pissed. Just who the hell does that bastard think he is trying to attack me in my own home! I managed to get control of my body back, yelled **** YOU! and charged it. I attacked it with an elbow strike and as soon as my elbow got to the point where it would have made concact, the shadow disappeared. I don't think I actaully "hurt" but more of just made it clear that I wasn't going to be an easy target it for it so it moved on to find other prey.

 

I was reading some scary book at 11:45-12am in my bed with only a table light on
and then something poked my rib and i dropped the book, got shocked, reacted and paralyzed due to the scaryness .
pfft.

 

Speaking about freaky stuff, last night while I was taking a shower, as I was singing Jet's "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" out loud, the shampoo rack broke and fell on my back...

Last year at Tae Kwon Do camp I saw one of the ghosts of someone who was part of the civilian conservation corp which was a project made to get jobs for young people working at parks and wildlife areas during the Great Depression.

One year one of the masters told about how one night a sinkhole opened up right underneath a cabin not far from our campsite and how a few people were killed from that and their ghosts still haunt the area. But the way he told it, we didn't know if it was really a true story or if he was just trying to scare the little kids so they don't try to wander around at night. I later tried to see if I could look up the story when I got home but didn't find anything.

didn't think much of it until just last year when during the night I was messing around with a few friends playing hide and seek. One of my friends was freaked out after a round and says that he saw a white blob move through the trees. We didn't really think much of him and just told him he was tripping and laughed it off. But the next night as I was leaving my cabin to start my firewatch shift I notice a blobish orb thing moving quickly through the woods. And later that night one of my other friends goes to take a piss and when he gets back he said that he saw a weird white orb in the woods. The next morning we were telling the kitchen workers about it and they said that those were the CCC ghosts and that some CCC workers did die in an accident many years ago.

 

They can and apparently they hate your singing.

 

Some people who have had near death experiences are also more in-tune with the spirit world and things that pertain to it. Also that's freaky Beatie. I think I would have grabbed one of my Katana's and swung it around if I were in your situation. xD

 

I would have but the thing was standing in front of my sword rack which on the far side of the room from my bed though I did have a knife on my nightstand and grabbed it right before I attacked but then the thing disappeared just as my elbow was passing through it.

 

Yeah, that'd be the same situation I would be in. My swords are all along my wall across from the foot of my bed so if it was at the foot of my bed I'd have to jump towards it. For something like that it's almost like your own fear taking over in the form of a dark presence. Perhaps someone who had a lot of negativity that passed recently. I'm no expert on the paranormal, but I have to wonder if it could have done harm if you had remained frozen with fear.
