force logout with gamezaion website control panel

Hello,

At the time of writing, my account is apparently still logged in the game, and I cannot login. This happened after a client crash (and yes i am sure that the server is not down, as I can log into my friend's account).

I've also been reading the forums and it also seems that a lot of people actually frequently get stuck characters and stuck accounts as well.

So I would like to suggest a way to force our account to logout of the servers from the outside world. Maybe add a "force logout" option to our gamezaion website control panel? And give it a time limit or something so people do not abuse it. Say once every 15 or 30 minutes? I really think this would save a lot of our time and the GM's time as well. Please consider this suggestion and thanks for reading.

 

its not related, there actually is such a thing (mostly when u d/c, ur char stays online so when u try to login again, it tells u "the account is already logged in" and logs u out and when u type the login the 2nd time, it lets u in)

1 of the servers is down right now btw, the server reboot thread is around. maybe ur just on 2 different servers? (siel/lumiel) so ur friend logs into the other one

 

Oh, yes I understand what you are saying Smartik1, but its weird. I really cant login at all, despite multiple times logging it (way more than 2 times), it still says my account is logged in.

Also are you sure the server is down right now? As i was just on it with my account, and as of right now posting, i just logged in both siel and lumiel with my friend's account as well.

Maybe an idea is to have a thing on the website to show whether the servers are up or not

 

Launcher already has it. They just need to add the login server to the launcher aswell

 

ye the launcher has it also often shows it wrong lol

the server reboot thread in the recent threads box is more accurate

Thats why im saying. They need to add the login server to it aswell.
Launcher can spam gameserver "online" as much as it wants. but if the login is down, no1 can login and thus its showing it "wrong"

Yes, A login server and game server status is what we need

 

But the login server and the game server is not down right now, because I am literally logging in and out of siel with my friend's account easily. I know i'm not hallucinating, as I can login both servers right now.

They are both up. There is just a huge delay. Like teleporting makes u invisible and not teleports u. Buffs not going away and stuck at 0 seconds. Thats also considered a "Crash". But people can still login(i logged in 30 mins ago)

tbh its safer to just logout when that happens otherwise u just risk a stuck char or lost items coz the crap wont save when the server really crashes

 

they need to put a SERVER STATUS box at the website.
