Ground PvP

I think many users would agree for this to be implemented, would it be possible for clora to implement an anti-flying trigger for rift zones? It would spark up PvP by a huge amount, I mean, let's face it, air pvp is only for sorcs and rangers.

Strong Points:
• Very fun.
• More variety with PvP.
• Allows most, if not all classes to be balanced.
• A relatively simple addition that, logically, with proof, 90%(subject to change) of players would love.
• Gamezaion will become an even better PvP server, since there are two different ways to actually PvP.

Weak points:
• Would take longer to grind.
- Who grinds in rift zones in the first place? There's already a high risk of the opposite faction ganking / killing you.
• Takes longer to get to bosses.
- GamezAion is a PvP server, not PvE, which generally means, PvP has priority.
• We're going to get ground PvP in Balaurea in 2.0 anyways, do we need this implemented?
- Yes, updating to 1.9 took two months simply because it was a big update, 2.0 is an even bigger update, so expect 3 - 6 months for it to be implemented after September 7th, so do we need to wait that long for Ground PvP? I don't think so.
• Some players just simply hate ground PvP, which means you have PvP'd on the ground before, but you didn't like it.
- I want you, no, I recommend you vote "No", simply because you know what you're talking about.

If you're the type of person to see that something like this simply has no chance to be implemented, then I suggest that you don't vote on either "Yes" or "No", and don't come in and discourage this thread either, that's not helping us.

 

yeah i love ground pvp.

 

doubt it will happen on gamez. It never even happens on crystal like it was supposed to =(. Anti fly barriers are bad, and not enough people to actually rift and have fun PVPing. But if ground abyss and baluria are implemented, I am sure they will be no fly zones because that was the whole point behind them.

 

I believe they are working on removing flight from dredgion (Gamez).

Wel there are a lot of polls already about this.
If you get Ground pvp that means you take off the free fly.
And if you want ground pvp just go to Crystal aion.

 

We have no ground pvp. I wish, but no, we do not.

 

We should have more ground PvP, because then I can show off my awesome Elyos duel skills that we practice 24/7 since we don't practice air duels :lol:

Yea I missed those days on retail that I have to chase someone on foot to kill them. Flying is a cheap way to avoid someone very easy.

WHEN Balaurea(gay name) comes out officialy and IF it gets implemented for GamezAion, which it should. It will be a forced Ground PvP map. Cause, free flying on there = </3

 

I vote yes. Simply because some skills require you to be on the ground. Rangers would be able to use their traps and clerics would be able to use their Noble Energy and Holy Servant and etc..

Lots of games with ground PVP, you know... the ones where you dont have WINGS? Im not gonna vote, not enough options, but if they would leave everything else alone and just make the new places ground pvp I wouldnt care . Free flight and the trade system (please bring that back soon) are why I play here.

I think you misread, we're not talking about group pvp, we're talking about ground pvp.

Oh, and I see you dueling all the time, so. :s
