Funny thought though, a lot of people like me have 600+ ping. Is it still not justifiable to say that you lost to a 50 ping guy because of high ping? )

 

it is............a skilled glad vs a skilled glad=the one with lowest ping will win( i mean Ping-50 Vs Ping 500)

 

Well, just think about it. It's a matter of .05 and .5 second. It doesn't make that much difference.

 

makes alot of difference play with 500 ping and then play with 50ping...is a HUGE DIFFERENCE

 

not just the 1st hit. every single time u hit the button. u have to w8 for the server respond and release the next skill.
u can see a duel between 2 gladies who have 50ms and 300ms. the 50ms one can use a spear and atk way faster than the 300ms one using a GS.
and yet, ur PC too. weaker PC makes u slower.

No. Just no. If you believe this you are an idiot, sir. I can't stress enough that unless you have severely high ping in the range of more than half a second, ping does not affect your speed overall. Why? Because of your client. Why do animation hacks work? Because they are client side hacks. When you use a skill, the client accepts the skill instantly and sends usage packets to the server at the same rate as everyone else. Ping does not increase or decrease the time between skills, only the time for the first skill to hit server side can be affected by ping.

Thus if the glad with the slower weapon is attacking faster without buffs to make him faster the other doesn't have, he's a damn hacker.

That would be a more severe problem than ping lag if packets aren't making it to the server at all, and not caused by a simple half second ping.

 

Well, most people should know this by now unless they are new to MMO. I usually have about roughly 78-100Ping at all times, and 100-200 during raids.

Most likely if you have high amount of ping you should go with a Sorc/Sm

If you have low ping as you can go then role a Sin/Ranger/Glad/Chanter

and I totally agree with this point of view, if you got high amount of ping. Get yourself better service/ISP/ or buy battle ping which most ppl are doing now.
