... many more.. (i go to the cinemas every week.. just watched Salt and Sorcerer's Apprentice.. and both are good.. planning to watch Airbender anytime this week too)

 

I heard airbender was horrid. Have yet to see 2012, but wasn't inception good? =P. Its the one movie that I wanted to see the next day. I liked the visuals of avatar, but to me the story was mediocore. Loved dark knight also (I love how they made it about the city's soul). Have yet to see clash of the titans and sherlock holmes. Loved transformers and hate people who bash on it because it was an action flick. Wasn't a fan of the A-team though =P. Have any older favs? These are mostly recent. And is Salt worth seeing?

 

Inception was something else.. it has its own level. the best movie ive seen this year. a dream w/ in a dream w/ in a dream ... and be inceptionized lol! awesome.. 10 thumbs up

Salt was ok... has few twists here and there. its about a Russian spy.

i watch movies coz i like every genre (sometimes forced to watch those chick flix coz of my wife.. just like the Twilight series and that Valentines day movie )

Ahh I forgot LOTR. Loved that trilogy =P. Wasn't a fan of spiderman (too lovey-dovey at times) or star wars (just not my cup of tea).

Add some tv shows also. Lost IMO is the best tv show ever made.

Gotta give props to true blood. Its a cool show, but I have yet to see the new season episodes. Thank god I DVRed them lol.
Is weeds worth getting into? I hear mixed reviews about it.

I would love to see it. Lots of those TV shows are too old for me. I liked saw. Lots of people find me wierd about that seeing how I like completely different movies, but to me it is a very interesting concept. To try and help people through sadistic trials. Righteous kill...I vaguely remember watching that. Was that the one about the killer of criminals?

it all depends on what your humor type is i find weeds pretty amusing, its a dramady (comedy/drama). Has a lot to do with doin drugs but thats not all its about. There are murders and all kinds of crazy stuff goin on I havent seen the new season (if its even out).

 

Yeah righteous kill is where al pacino and robert de nero are cops. Robert kills one dude that was beating up some womans daughter, because he got set free, and al takes that as an example, and starts killing all the criminals that escape justice. Really good movie.

For war movies, if you haven't already seen them, I recommend a few things.

Hurt Locker- A very suspenseful movie. It kept me on the edge of my seat. It follows three people as they try to survive their tour in Iraq as people who disarm bombs in middle of combat. Although their isn't really one huge plot, it follows them into several different mini plots, and the story as a whole follows how war is a drug and how the protagonist is an adrenaline junkie. Extremely, extremely well done (Academy award for best movie, and yes it beat avatar).

Saving Private Ryan- I am sure you have seen this, so I won't go into details, but another realistic look into WWII.

Band of Brothers- A miniseries definitely worth looking into. It recreates the true story of Easy Company in World war II. Extremely realisitc. The vets talk before and after each hour episode describing the events. The series recreates events through journals, talks, newspapers, etc. It demonstrates how ordinary people were able to call upon huge reserves of courage in this war, the sacrifice people made, the bond formed through comaraderie, and the hell that is war. Anybody who likes war films should check this out, it is beyond moving.
