I'd like to take the time now to congratulate the youngest MVP (Most Valuable Player) in the history of the NBA: Derrick Rose. He is technically still viable to be playing in college, and at the age of 22, he is now the youngest ever to win the award.

The award is bittersweet because he seemed injured after yesterday's game and may not play tomorrow. The Bulls also lost to the Hawks in a traumatic game, but its alright, Bulls have 6 more games and are heavy favorites.

People don't realize how important sports are in Chicago. True there are numerous bandwagon fans (Blackhawks parade of 2 million people anyone?), but I mean, it had arguably the best dynasty in ANY sport (the 90s Bulls).

Anyways, the real celebrations at Grant Park come when he'll be bringing home our 7th Championship

So he's not playing tomorrow? Or any game afterward? And the Bulls lost?

PLease, he'll probably play for a bit next game, seeing how tough he is. Lakers are collapsing on themselves, and Celtics better beat the heat. I say Bulls Thunder :)

I agree, I like football's scoring the most. But at least basketball is interesting throughout the scoring. For example, teams can come back at any time, and its a "every second" counts kind of game where you need to be active. I watch soccer and people passing for 20 minutes, and am like...no.

But maneuvering the ball with feet is much more fun, don't ya think.

Plus, the court is MUCH bigger, thus soccer is somehow really stamina-consuming.

    soccer is soccer
last year dont remember the game.. but i remember it was 4x1 at 88..
with 2 minutes lefting they scored 3 times and made it 4x4
it was realy realy fantastic cause is very dificult to score once and thats how soccer works... some times it just.. happen...

Hell no, I would NEVER say he's better. Michael Jordan is the GOAT. No doubt about that. I feel like Rose will come into his own mold. For one thing, his jersey is already going up on those rafters.

But I can see how it reminds people of MJ. It's Chicago's first superstar since that period.
