    Well you see.. It's a private server. The fact that he implemented a new emu means he is actually trying to make the game experience better. Sadly, when you change things, not everything works as soon as you start it up. There is a bunch of coding to go through. Have a little patience. I say give it a week. If things arent changed (which a week is a good amount of time to have things fixed), then yea, /fail attempt, and most people will be leaving faster than rats on a sinking ship.
