The thing is that Carl dun hire Devs coz none of them seems to be good nough...

 

So pretty much everything can be blamed on Carl? No?

 

Edit: Wow, super long post, didn't really realize 'til I submitted it. Anyhow:

Emulators for Aion are all generically bugged, as even the "open source community" can't keep up with NCSoft's updates while maintaining a 100 percent performance. Other servers fix the emulators by themselves, and pretty reasonably would not release the fixes, so the "open source" only goes so far.

The main issue is that the cores we'd been using were all badly written to start - or rather, too old for the newer updates that were being applied. It wasn't that something being updated simply broke itself; an update would break something completely unrelated.

In the case of the Hide bug, we've obviously tried rolling back the Hide scripts, but nothing remotely related to Hide fixed the bug. I'm not entirely sure why we don't completely roll back all updates for a major bug, though.

I expected more out of this emulator, as well. It looks just like evilset's test server from 2 months ago. But what can you do when you have 0 testers? It should be easier to get fixes done on this, though, since the core is actually a 2.0 core instead of a 1.5 core.

 

The economy of Gamez is ruined by dupers but come to think who's fault it is that there are so many exploits which offer the opportunity to dupe items

 

My "name taken" error in the test server got ignored, so I gave up a while ago ;~;

 

I know they will, but nothing is for free in this world anymore. If Carl care/want to find real devs who can fix things with ease, then he needs to take some cash out of the donations and pay the dev.

Well, real devs sells their fixes for $. If Carl is going to wait for evilset to fix this mess, then we have to wait much looooooooooooonger.

By the time I wake up in few hours this thread will be locked and no answer will be given coz this is how things are here in Gamez.

Admins ignore their community, some people say 'nough!' and quit this server but because it remains to be in top 5 Aion Pservers, there are newcommers who donate/vote and keep this superduper server up at ratings...
