crit capped?

just a question, i read about some old threads crit being capped to 500, is it true? if it is, then i wouldnt bother for adding more.

There's a soft cap at 450. Past that you get 1/2 the crit per point. Then there are more caps past that. I would still recommend over 450 so that you can make up for the strike resist people get from their +15 gear.

 

there is a pvp cap aswell as a soft cap you'll need to test to find out but in pvp you can crit every 1/2 - 1/3 hits and if you weave your normal damage will crit alot aswell

really? idk that -.- on retail it's still 440 cap and pvp cap is _ _ _ or did they change it for gamezaion???

 

never played retail but even for retail i think people said 440 was soft cap, 550 was hard cap

anyways here 550 is what people aim for

 

my chanter juubii is capped higher then 550 dont' forget that when you crit you are vsing strike resist, 550 doesn't bypass full +15 and difs not chanters with hit mantra ^ ^

 

u can get the stat as high as u like i think, it just doesnt help u much there were people who had it over 700 be4 xD there wasnt a visible stat cap on the stats screen

 

i have 730-830 on my chanter we tested it all day with other stones etc for othe purposes
anyways vsing 300 strike resist you'll crit 1/2 -1/3 times every hit
on my full rotation i can kill sorcs in less then 5secs faster then they can cc me + treeing or sleeping like ever sorc does the cd for soulstrike is up and you can stun them again and it's over >.>
but yeah you willn't notice the difference because some people aren't +15 and some are

 

Soft cap is at 440 another soft cap is at 600 after that i dunno lol

 

chanters if stone right can stunlock and do a full rotation of 12k damage in under 10secs ^.^

sorc can have pretty high MR and resist ur stuns, specially since we get a buff for it

curse of weakness = every magical skill u use takes away around 1k of ur hp
wintry armor = every hit u take on us takes away 1k of ur hp

can make u suicide in bout 5 hits ^^

and nah i pretty much never use the tree and hardly ever sleep lol, dont need to

by that time ull kill urself without me even needing to touch u

yeah i've tested that to with 1k crit lol was bored doesn't do anything ^ ^
but crit cap isn't going to be visable unless you have a skill + my crit combat log up and record the amount of crits you do vs everyone, tho a safe cap is 730 vs full +15 gear and chanters with hit mantra
tested that for 4hours lol restoning dueling restoning dueling restoning dueling haha was fun

ok cap sucks, im a sin, with 520 crit using +10 flaredagger and +10 taha still suck in pvp with full +15 abg id do crit at 1~2...

im not sure anymore if a sin is playable at all in pvp... in pve i do 1.8k on crits...

 

haha ask asmo siel mr sorcs that i used to duel they get stunlock with mr capping over 2.3k and glads that capped 2.5k
i wasn't stone like anyone else, manastones make or break people and everyone is mr so stunlocking a full mr sorc or glad makes chanter op even autumns knows that ^.^ autumns <3

sins D: i made one and test a crit cap but idk what it was cause it's duel wield not single weapon so i think the cap is lower for sin cause i was critting people alot with only 400 crit O.O
