Now autumn's here, winter's not far away.
Already you've attained three score and ten.
We notice now the shortening of the day,
Our spring and summer gone, won't come again.
Although our love is young, we're growing old
So savour mellow fruitfulness a while.
Let's glory in the autumn and be bold,
We'll laugh and greet each new day with a smile.
Give me your hand my love and let us be
Close friends, fond lovers, help-mates to the end,
And best of all to be good company,
Sharing whatever else this life may send.
Come kiss me love and hold me in your arms
Before cold winter freezes all my charms.

 

This is the type of poetry I love. Keeping it closer to reality than the others ^^.

Does love now weave this vision in my heart?

1:30 hours ago -

Again we fought another fight
around this merry-go-round
None of this crap,
was believed to be right
So i dont know why the frown

She forced my head
my hands and my control
to have this platter of fruit
My wound was still, a bloody red
And the acid drove through the visible hole

I went to go clean
the citrus filled mess
that had burned my fingers with acid
I hid them from dad, to be unseen
Like the tall grass hiding the rabbit.

Now that my mum
doesnt give a crap
about the dysunctional fingers
She'll have to be, ready to run
Or loneliness will become her next trap

 

good poem is good.
