critical strike !!! >.<

The crytical rate here is to hight and i request the Soft Crytical cap after i sow that 3/4 attks are cryt ! In the late period i was on different servers and populated ones were they have a crytical cap of 450 cryt - for balancing the pvp !
I think that now once they maked the pvp dmg much lower - my inferno don't pass 3.2k , is prety ridiculous for a sin or gald to hit all the time 4k / 3k in autoattk ! ( a sin just maked 3 skills and autoattk all cryts over 2k dmg ) I tested with ry in a duel - only 1 attk wasn't cryt - but she hited 3k + again 4k autoattk !( shes not even abg )

Also for a private server soft cap is nececary !

To be sincier all hits that i recive are cryts and i have over 250 strike resist ( from scrools and new wings ) , and it may be that the strike resist is totaly bugged !
I tested it with Celty if someone remeber her on other server and shes full abg and i with no armor ( 0 enchant ) - the cryt strike rate was very low !

U can say that i QQ , but i realy got sick of it !

!!!! And yeah is like : I don't have ''a chance'' to hit in cryt , i have a chance to hit normal !!!!!

BTW- I just won a abg cloth set , and i just sow that cloth set dosen't give those 90 ( for 3 pices ) +110 ( for 5 pices ) as bonus ! ( magic boost ) - but this can wait i guess , anywai is to gay >3

That's right full ABG does not grant its bonuses..

 

Crit strike

Soft cap 440: after 440 all extra crit strike from gear is halved till 600 so I need 320 crit to reach 60instead of just 160
Hard cap 600: after 600 all extra crit strike from gear is divided by 5 so i need 500 crit to reach from 600 to 700

Foods and pots are not affected by this cap...Practice on retail shown that the most optimal for pvp is around the end of the soft cap. for pve ofc u can go above 600 if u r a dmg dealer.

On crystal? neither of the cap works so even 1000(critical absolute) can be achieved quite easily

10 points in critical strike increase by 1 percent the chance to crit
10 points in crit resist reduce the chance to crit by 1 percent

 

How can you possibly tell if the crit rate is right or not? It's probability and I'm pretty sure it's one of the first fixes Evilset made and Erlucius checked over.

Zetsumei has 800 crit when geared >.> [dont ask...i messed up]
[I keep him ungeared] and I crit as much as other assassins, but dont do the same dps...or i dont see the dps racking up the same...we can do video tests if you want added proofs

max of 450 crit leaves gladiators, temps, rangers and sins without damage....so cant cap crit so low

 

maximum in 10 days i am finishing my first exams(rest goes in june >.<) as i do them, i'll check whole crystal from 0 :3

Or maybe the strike resist its not working right

 

i dunno but i think its a great idea to low the damage of all PvP, it will make it more playable and more fun. I see no fun in die by 3 or 4 hits

on retail a glad vs templar duel can go on more than 10 minutes which is exactly what make s the original game so exciting

 

that's what im talking about! xD reciently i make a duel against umiko with my Gladiator.. the duel was for 4 minutes and i can say that that was the most exiting PvP that i have ever played without counting a Cleric Vs Cleric PvP xD GOD i love clerics! jeje

 

OK i decided to answer that finally in case u thik I m BS u.
Evilset idk of... Carl and Erlucius aren t very bright so they could completely miss that thing.
I don t hold ablazed in high regards either.

On to the point

Let s suppose u have 500 crit strike and an item that gives 100 crit bonus. If u unequip the item u should have 450 according to the soft cap announced by NCSOFT staff in her forums. but instead on crystal u have 400.

How to test crit rate? a simple way is to get 2 gears one 500crit one 1k crit(crystal only possible)
Go hit 10 times with each and see the result. If u are not satisfied repeat to 100 hits with each and mark results

do this test on mobs not players because mobs don t have crit resist
probability doesn t mean complete randomness 50 percent means 50 percent!!! which means if u can t understand that in 100 u ll get about 50 crits. Maybe not EXACTLY but VERY close to that. Ie it s impossible to end up with 75...

Just because in theory it should be close to a number doesn't mean it will be. Also your first example is dumb you have 500 crit, take off 100 and you should have 450? I actually played and play retail, I don't have to read forums to know what's right and what isn't.
